I think this is due to the dev being new to RPGmaker and overusing certain event types. There are 2 or 3 settings you can change to make it a little better, but this game runs quite bad for the low amount of background events. I can figure out which specific settings once I get home to my PC.
Further more on this short break while working on a spin off, the spin off will be more a DLC at this stage it will feature an NPC couple that is already in the game where Sayako will steal the Girlfriend/Wife. The main purpose of this update will be to grow as a dev in all functions from systems to animation and then bring back what the dev learnt and put them skills into this the main game.
The dev has said this will not be a big break but an educational break using a clean slate and growing from there.

Not making games, but trying to please everyone. If you want to make a game, make a game. Work on your mistakes, accept criticism and become better, but make your own game. As soon as you bend to the wishes of others, you will immediately be “gobbled up” not by requests, but by demands to change the game as other people see it. Before you know it, you're already making someone else's game that you don't even like.
Hopefully you don't drop this I usually buy from DLsite and these are typically my demos. Allowing the public builds allows me to determine if its a game worth buying when it's finished. This has had a good start so far.
As a former novelist i suggest to not get into the habit of dropping projects or anyone you have supporting you won't for much longer.
I've lost trust in the guy who did New Black World Order and Bully for similar reasons. Even if progress is slow paced make sure you finish this one even if it's not perfect.

Exactly. Dev hasn't missed a beat so far, but he's getting stuck up in his head about pleasing everyone. Work on what you WANT to work on, and the people who like that will come in. People who don't, kick em to the curb. Negativity will just bring the flow down for the people who are here for what you make.
Has anyone else encountered the Anna side quest issue? The issue being that I can't start proceed with the quest. I'm at the point in the Main Story where I get the pop-up 'complete anna side quest' but then I try to leave town and get the pop up 'gather everyone' which I of course, can't do without completing the Anna side quest.
The Anna side quest is found in the town and the gather everyone option can found by going to your room in the castle outside this, no idea. I too put off that quest till I was told to do it and had no issues.
Yeah I just seem to be stuck in a loop now where I can't progress either side. Can't leave to get the ore without gathering party, can't gather party without doing the Anna quest.
So, I never played a Futa game with NTR, so a girl with a dick fucks our girl, that's how the NTR works on this? I'm interested in trying this one to see if I like this kind of kink, but I want to know what to expect from it.
