The black screens are a result of the intro videos failing to load. If you click/key repeatedly through them you should get to the menu.

It doesn't matter. I prefer the balls too, but the Emily x Clover scene is hot as hell. I was originally going to buy the game, just on that merit alone. The rest of the scenes are kind of boring though, so kind of glad I didn't.

Story build-up and foreplay aren't quite the same thing. Some of the scenes have a little touching before they get to the fully-naked full-on banging stage, but I'm not joking when I say I'm now 4 or 5 routes in and there's still only been one kiss. Most of the time it's straight from "should we?" to "clothes off, dick in" with nothing in between.

It's not atypical for porn but it's still annoying. Sex is - should be - more than just "clothes off, dick in". Where's the sensuality? Where's the romance? Where's the passionate half-undressed embrace? Okay, I'll stop before I get carried away, but my point is it feels like some of the heart is missing.

I didn't say anything about continuity or connection between stories so I'm not sure how that's related.

It's not a romance novel, it's a hentai novel. Those are two completely different things. At least one of the paths do end somewhat in a relationship, but I should also point out that not all relationships start with kissing and courting. Two of my past relationships started out as wild flings, and then grew into something more. But anyway, just because it calls itself a dating sim, doesn't mean that its going for that romantic atmosphere. I mean, some of the pictures on their Steam page are literally the girls pumped full of baby cream, so it's pretty clear what this game was intended for. Hell, one of the girls is a Dom, and they don't usually kiss their "pets".

I also use windows 7 and the patched version is still giving the Mfplat.dll missing message, so I can confirm this is still a broken game for Windows 7 users. We still need to wait for a real/permanent fix.

This is a "nukige" game though where it mostly focuses on quick sex than anything else been a while since I played one of these honestly.
A lot of the new devs have been doing more story stuff so not everyone would be used to these kinds of games.
