It might depend on where you live but if you live in a developed country 1400 it isn't "a lot", lol. Even if they declare it as a side project and have regular jobs as well they have to pay taxes on that income. I think they even mentioned tax problems at some time. I am honestly surprised that they make so little money with a futanari project that is so popular and has that kind of artwork. And they have two different art styles in the game, so they already pay another artist.

Yeah comissioned art is not cheap.
I will also point out that they have more than one writter doing the routes. Case in point the person responsible for Wallis' route is not the same as the one doing Sally's route.

True. While the Futadom team is definitely above the average they are still far from the bigger ones, even on their own niche.

The Futadom team is around the same size as the Darktoz Games team with 1101 patrons for FTW and 1007 for Darktoz. But they have less than half of Venus Noire with more than 2288 patrons (creatores of Seed of Chaos) and less than one fifth of the Majalis Duo 6091 patrons (creators of Tales of Androgyny).

I am annoyed at the time this takes aswell, but in the end, I just love everything about it so much and there is nothing that comes even close to it. I am basicly their hostage and will pay them as long as they work on this. Even if it is for 100 more routes which I would be in favour of ngl.

I'm so excited for the next update. This game is by far the best one with futa in it (and probably the best for fans of femdom in general).

Also Rye used to be my favourite but now I'm torn between Rye and Mallory. I wonder if the devs would ever do a scene where both of them absolutely destroy the main character, or maybe have a competition to see who can make the MC cum the most. Then maybe they just get over their differences and double team you.

However the story so far is quite short and it is nowhere near the level of the more complex routes Futadom has been receiving since Rye's updates.
Also from the three starting routes only the bounty hunter seems a bit similar with Futadom World, the Queen is sissification/cage play and the Mage seems to be full transformation/genderswap.

Maybe it will change after all as you said the game is new. But my feeling is this game will have a shorter scope than FTW.

yeah the game will only have these 3 routes and they will be more simple compared to Futadomworld, the Hunter route will be more about domination, the queen route will be about chastity and male preg, and the witch will be feminization, the team working on the project is also smaller

Game actually looks pretty amazing and there's never too much futa content in the world, +1 from me. Plus even if it can't be a replacement the updates on the game could serve as a distraction while we wait for futadom world updates.
