This was the exact answer I got: "Not a continuity error, an easter egg! The phone number you got from Rye was given before Rye respected you at all, so she actually gave you Diamond's number, setting you up for surprise sex. " I have no problem to accept this. My suspension of disbelief is not easily shattered in porn games.^^
I am pretty sure I remember Rye giving you her supposed number at some point...

As I said, I actually re-downloaded the game and played through Rye's story arc. I could not find it. I didn't find a single mention of a phone number at all from Rye, let alone Diamond's.
So please point out where this happens. Otherwise, its a plot hole due to me being unable to find proof.
Hell. Once Rye finishes any part where she doesn't care, she actually just tells you to get lost as soon as its over. And you do.

Edit: I think it may have been some side event like meeting her in a certain point of her route at goddess day.

The same devs that 'fixed' the Suni and Sally bugs that weren't fixed until I brought them up to MaimLane in these forums? Sure. They're 100% on top of it, lol. That's why MaimLane and I were going back and forth about it for a couple forum pages until he tossed us the gallery mod with 3b in it that finally DID fix the issues.

I obviuosly thought it was weird, as well. Otherwise I wouldn't have thought twice about calling Diamond's number that makes literally no sense during a very bad moment. I always thought it was Rye's phone. Which would have made sense if you hadn't advanced Rye's story enough for her to kick them to the curb. But no sense after that.
As I said. I went through the content with Rye. Twice. And couldn't find a mention of a phone number. Rye messes with you, then tells you to get lost. Repeat until the folk concert when you realize you're actually on a date.

Well, knowing the content you made yourself and fixing bugs are very different things. My point wasn't thinking it was weird, but thinking it was weird, *because I remembered Rye giving it to me*.
I am pretty sure you need a little progress with Rye and then she gives you her number at goddess day in case you are harrassed. Either way, I am pretty sure the devs explanation is a retcon. But I don't care, it works well enough.
Btw, are you on the spectrum or sth? I don't mean to diss or offend, that would obviously be completely fine. I am just wondering who actually goes through the game twice to get to the bottom of this, lol
Maybe you're just super invested in the story of Futadom World, I can dig it ))

I am with dersp on the fact that this is a retcon explanation, I also don't mind them when used to expand the story.
However it would be nice knowning which events lead to this phone number exchange because i also don't remember seeing this exact dialogue line in game. But i admit i haven't watched all Godess Day events to be sure i didn't missed it (i did Rye event before her route).

Maybe i will try later the events of GDay to see this. Right now i have way too many things to watch and/or play (Dark Cristal just got released on netflix ).

In my case, I really hate plot holes in games I enjoyed. And when someone shows up and claims 'truth' but has zero evidence it annoys me. I can admit when I'm wrong with proof. Unfortunately, you have nothing but "pretty sure". I looked for said event and didn't find it. You can claim anything you want. But that doesn't make it true.
I already deleted the game I grabbed last night, so I can't check your goddess day guess right now since I'm headed to out soon. But I can say that I did Suni first, way before I ever saw or even knew about a goddess day event. And when I saw the 'Rye' option greyed out for the phone calls I loaded a previous file and moved Rye's story forward right after the folk concert to make sure the option was lit to try it. So even if you get the phone number on goddess day, its still a plot hole if you didn't get to that point in the story. Or are quite literally far earlier in the story than it can even happen.

So show some proof, or quit making false claims of "I'm pretty sure".

Rye's goddess day events actually change based on whether you know her. You can get a 'faceless minions' event, or one where they make you run out and betray another male to save yourself. I can't remember if there was a third or not. Though if the minions are there once you've done enough Rye for her to have kicked them to the curb, that would be another plot hole.

You could do what I did for Cladia's test on goddess day. Just choose and then roll back if you got the wrong answer. Unless it doesn't tell you until after?

A very nice person gave me a link to a compressed version. So I can try it now.
My question is for something really early. When Mallory asks if you're flirting with her, she has two answers. But the 'yes' is greyed out and I'm not sure what I need to do to light it up.
I tried loading a goddess day save and picking the temple, but it appears that spermicide has been removed since it only says 'n/a', so it isn't that, lol. Unless we get spermicide from somewhere else, anyways. I may have to start a new game just to see the changes.


Edit: All my saves had my spermicide as n/a and I can't buy any in the park. Are they trying to force us to start new games? Because any fail I had on the couple saves I checked were instant game overs, instead of losing some knowledge and getting addiction levels like in the notes.

I deleted my saves. I don't seem to be able to find patch notes, so I guess I have to re-learn from scratch.
I'm very curious whether or not the new difficulty choices alter the story, or if the higher ones just make certain choices automatic dead ends.

Edit: Noticed a bug, I think. when using the exercise equipment, the lowest '50 energy, $50' gives 5 to your stat. The middle '50 energy, $100' only gives 4. I think they accidentally swapped them.

When does the spermicide vendor reset? I bought both of them, but even two or three days later they're still blanked out.

Edit: I picked 'throbbing' difficulty. Wonder how high the brain damage stat needs to be to force you to lose even if you have intelligence remaining.

Edit2: After using one, the vendor had another. So you can only carry a single dose per quality at a time.
