I think in the next update, Scarlet games does them in batches of threes. The last three updates were for the Futa x Futa path, so now the next three updates will be for the netori path.
This is why I hate multiple routes. This always happens. If the game was a single route, we'd be at day 9 by now. For any aspiring dev out there: don't do multiple routes.

to be fair the futaxfuta route is actually good, lot of devs usually do like 3+ routes and some aren't even that good so it feels empty, scarlet is cooking here

Honestly, working on a game with just one route can be challenging for the developer. It might feel like your creative options are limited. Imagine having lots of fun ideas you want to make, but then you realized they just don't fit into the story. You end up having to let those ideas go and constantly brainstorm within those limitations, which can get repetitive and lead to feeling burned out. On the player side, people have different preferences! Some might enjoy that one route, but many others would love to see or experience something different. Offering choices or multiple paths improves the game for players by giving them variety and makes the development process more creatively sustainable too. ;)

The time you waste making 5 routes could've been used to make a single route five times longer and of better quality.

Yeah, that's true, but honestly, every developer is different. Some focus on just one path, while others branch out, even go a bit overboard and the content feels spread thin. It just comes down to what the dev prefers, and there's really no right or wrong way to do it. Personally though, I'm not making stuff to please everyone, I have my own vision for the game and try to stick to it.
I've actually been playing this game for a long time, way before I was a developer myself. I was actually pretty happy with it as it was. But honestly, I enjoyed it even more when Scarlet added that futaxfuta path. It's cool having that extra variation in there. Regardless, even if Scarlet added sub-paths in Netori like the futaxfuta one, I know I'd play every single path. I just find games with only one path a bit less engaging, they can feel a bit like a kinetic novel sometimes. So yeah, at the end of the day, it just boils down to individual preference.

I've noticed the vast majority of futa x (futa/fem/male/whatever) all REALLY lean into the whole dom/sub style of "relationship". I was initially under the impression that futa x futa would be the go to for both partners being switches, holding hands, and singing kumbaya. Kind of leaning into the meme of playing smash bros with your bros then smashing your bros. The core idea being like advanced lesbian porn in a way, two attractive girls blowing each others backs out without having to use a plastic strap on.

What I get instead is only one doing the fucking (which is a huge let down because the dom is usually hot too but you know you'll NEVER get a scene with them, this game sidesteps this though) and degrading the other (In this game they openly drug each other and do w/e to stay on top to look down on their peers bitchmeat).

I'm aware it's a matter of personal preference but is every dev going this route over their own taste, or what they think people will be into? Side notes being the futa x futa dynamic actually being the least common with twinks being bottoms or having only the one futa in the story being the predominant choices.

Purpose of the post is to really just to get a feeling on what YOU ALL are feeling about these types of games and maybe why they choose this dynamic all the time. I actually like what the dev has here so it is a little funny to post this here. (Andrea x Milly route is wylin in this story though man)

Or maybe I'm just gey for wanting to see two girls nuts slapping against each other. :KappaPride:

Yup, honestly I feel that way about all futa content, whether it's futa x futa, or futa x male. I get tired of it always being heavily dom/sub, a good futa is wasting potential if they aren't making full use of their gifts. It's especially frustrating when all the males are treated as sissies.

I don’t know how else a dev is supposed to make a game except by doing what they like and what they think fans might like tbh. It would be dumb as hell to spend months working on stuff they don’t even care about so if they made it, it probably means they like the stuff they're making.

Remember indie devs are just regular fans who are making content they WANT to see in games. And most devs who just stupidly add every little thing their fans suggest end up f*cking up their own game anyway so I think it's better to just stick to their own passions. Also I don't think there will be romance or handholding (wtf tho :ROFLMAO: ) happening in this game. Can't imagine Milly doing all that tbh, and would be weird af to suddenly add that in a game that has NTR in it's name ngl.

I'm also gay for futa on futa btw.

People make what they like themselves. Personally I am really not into futas themselves, but I still enjoy some futa content because I like the heavy domination aspect that you don't see very often outside of it. That's why I'm not into the futa x futa route and why I wouldn't like a wholesome route either. I can get wholesome somewhere else.
You can always try and make a wholesome futa game yourself, maybe you'll find an untapped market.
