Does anyone have the really old demos, especially v0.17a? I wanna see the old CG and cutscenes before they were rewritten
In that case, is there a video somewhere of it?I have 0.08 and 0.12 but that's lava level only.
Maybe there's 0.16-0.17 somewhere on my other PC but I'm pretty much done with the project/materials I've done in the past for it, so it's probably gone.
I made 2 videos for FF starting with ~0.27 (which had modified scenes from Lava area and Snow area, with demon hypnosis removed) and 0.39 for another area, but after several years my channel was finally deleted because of copyright strike, which I shared in this post (link). In that case, is there a video somewhere of it?
And I will never understand people that think killing things in videogames and characters getting brutally murdered is fine but rape crosses some weird line as if non-consensual sex is somehow worse than DEATH.I will never understand people that aren't satisfied unless the woman is like crying or whatever. Like damn.
I'm really glad the game didn't go the rape direction. It's still pretty rapey right now...
For some it's not about it being traumatic to the woman to the point of crying and mind-break and shit.I will never understand people that aren't satisfied unless the woman is like crying or whatever. Like damn.

Ask some AI about that, because it's been answered so many times that I'm not willing to waste keystrokes on it.And I will never understand people that think killing things in videogames and characters getting brutally murdered is fine but rape crosses some weird line as if non-consensual sex is somehow worse than DEATH.
Why would we listen to AI about human psychology?Ask some AI about that, because it's been answered so many times that I'm not willing to waste keystrokes on it.
My brother in Christ, when hasn't porn games been 99% of bad writing rapey games? Infact it's way incredibly harder to find anything slightly vanilla, consensual, and with actual good writing that isn't borderline creepy and dislikeable. But believe it or not, I actually agree with you here. This game is in that sort of oddity limbo where it's SUPPOSED to be rape because it's a metroidvania and its incredibly weird just seeing enemies be like "oh no you just gored my brother, are you okay as I assfuck you unconsensually" and that sucks because it makes no sense and I really wanna enjoy the game... but now it seems super irrational if I don't or do go for any sex scene in it especially because most of the major point of the plot is that everything in it is too horny and should be avoided at every cost.the overwhelming majority of porn content in existence caters to you dude i dont understand why you have to take over every remaining space that doesn't.
Its all fucking weird. Stop trying to rationalize fetishes. Go play one of the million vanilla games and let us keep what little we have left.
Because it's a easy to see common overused explanation that lifelong trauma is worse then death. One is a scripted survival reaction that's not even yours and the other is permanent damage. There's also a joke there that AI at this point and time has become alot more rationally human then most people in the world but that's also too easy to tell, isn't it?Why would we listen to AI about human psychology?
AI is also pretty good at finding consensus opinions.Because it's a easy to see common overused explanation-
He says, after clicking the reply button to waste keystrokes telling people how he doesn't want to waste keystrokes on it.I'm not willing to waste keystrokes on it.
IIRC the dev has been reasonably open about the level of revenue he derives from the game. It's trivial to compare this rate with other jobs at about the same intersection of skill and time investment, though of course that does not account for "luck". First-mover advantage is a helluva drug.amounts of cash collected were not what they thought are they going to get, not by a long shot![]()
There's no excuse for releasing an unfinished game.IIRC the dev has been reasonably open about the level of revenue he derives from the game. I am not sure what profession you're speaking off beyond HR, but sounds like they are overpaid either way. But without being facetious: most professions in this day and age would fire you for this level of effort years ago, we don't live in age of milk and honey anymore and these jobs are more replaceable day by day given you're comparing them to a professional world.IIRC the dev has been reasonably open about the level of revenue he derives from the game. Wow, you're right, some of the defeat CG dialogue is a bit immersion breaking, especially if you're not building for lewd stats/run. I've followed the development of this game on and off, though the changed script isn't a big dealbreaker for me, but I can see why some followers might be disappointed.I really don't get why this is so hard for people to understand so I'm going to break it down in as few words as possible.
Rape fetish... is a thing.
Original demos fulfilled that fetish = attracted people with that kink.
Rapey dialogue removed with release of game = people who originally liked the rape fetish dialogue are disappointed. I'd imagine most people here would be pretty pissed if a vanilla game got bait and switched in last update to suddenly be a rapey game, or suddenly included NTR when it was not clear it'd be like that from the beginning.
I've said it in the past but HW could of easily appeased both sides if he just turned it into a corruption game he had all the systems in place to do so as well and corruption games have almost always been insanely popular, absolute missed opportunity.
well, that last bit I wrote there out of spite, you are right about it if we to speak in a serious mannerIIRC the dev has been reasonably open about the level of revenue he derives from the game.
