Using OCR for VNs is a fools errant. Always use a text extractor for faster, easier and more accurate translations. For the case of Sugoi, you should use Textractor with the Sugoi plugin. Then start the Sugoi server and use Textractor normally. Added bonus that the translation can now be saved/cached.

It isn't. There's just a lot of text and it's a pita to translate due to how the tools work. Don't hold your breath for this. It will take quite a while.
Sad to hear that it'll take much longer to finish but I appreciate and thank your hard work.

I'd like to make something very clear right now, just so there's no confusion about it.
I will not be providing any regular status updates nor ever give any kind of ETA. I said from the beginning, in the OP itself, that I may, for some reason, abandon this project one day. If that happens, I will make it clear in the OP, or you'll know if my account gets deleted. If it gets abandoned, I will not just disappear without a word. Asking if it's dead in the comments, or requesting updates, is pointless and I won't be replying to such comments anymore. Also, please don't DM me to ask about it either.
This is a personal project of mine. A completely free, fan translation. Anyone who thinks it's going too slowly is more than welcome to work on translating this themselves. I will never have a problem with it.
But please, if you feel that just because I created this thread, I now have some obligation to any of you, or must provide regular updates on the progress etc., immediately put those thoughts out of your mind.
Don't misunderstand. I'm not upset that any of you asked, or anything like that. I just wanted to make it very clear what my stance on this project is, how it will proceed and what kind of feedback you can expect from me. That's all. If that bothers you for whatever reason, and you just can't accept it, then leave the thread right now.
