Or are you just talking out of your hat? Also, why would you think it makes sense to compare a game with 1 dev vs a game by a team?
And if you can put such a game within an hour or so, then why havent you spent a few more hours and posted a way better one for free here? I mean, it would be more appreciated than a handfull scripts for Skyrim....
That said, i think wether the game is worth the money isnt/shouldnt be the point here. If we are going that road,
i d probably only pay for the games by HacknStalk and no one else. The patreons are donations rather for the effort than for 99% of
unfinished, bugged or abandoned games by numerous solo-devs, not because every game itself would justify it.
If you wanna make a comparison, i paid less than 10€ for Mortal Kombat 10, XCOM and yes, even Skyrim. And those fellas would sue the shit out of this board if anyone was to upload or link a pirate version. Coming here on and stating his point should be at least appreciated instead of making wild claims which no one (from here) can prove.

Anyway, I think you people tend to play dumb on purpose (or are outright shills), the whole argument was directed at him coming in here and blaming "muh piracy" for lost sales, when his product is clearly overpriced and of low quality. I don't give a shit about this "game" and I don't download 99% of the games posted in these forums, but sometimes the silent majority is forced to speak out when so much bullshit is forced down our throats.

The two games that I've compared it against are an one man team. At best they get some contributions such as translations...
Even then, it doesn't matter, because the user is paying 10$ when there are far better and actual games for that price range, one man team or not.

A proper game takes more than just programming skills and knowledge.
I am not a writer, I am not a modeler, I am not an animator and I prefer to work alone. I use games that either have those assets already ready for me to use or are available through freely released mods. I've no intention to acquire money and/or fame through modding and other game modifications.
Handful of scripts... About half of those are C++ SKSE plugins (not to mention the stuff I've inlined in posts without posting them as mods), is this considered a script now by the laymen?
Anyway, just look at my download stats on LL and see how much useless those were. Also, those are just my adult mods for Skyrim (mainly related to SexLab), obviously I've far more work published for both Skyrim aswell as other games under my real identity.
It's also important to note that many Skyrim mods alone are better than a vast majority of indie games and some (Enderal) are better than a vast majority of current AAA games.
And finally, I don't see what your point is. I've never claimed to have an interest in developing games nor an interest in this game (free or otherwise), and certainly, I'll never be a Patreon Ren'Py scammer.
Miss the point by several miles.
- I don't care whether this "game" is freeware or not. I've absolutely no interest to "play" it. Calling someone's else bullshit doesn't make me interested.
- Patreon model is cancerous to the gaming industry. Stalling out projects is deeply encouraged by this system. I'll never donate on Patreon nor make a Patreon myself... Period.
- Those AAA games you've mentioned are pirated everywhere. Lawyers are only involved when those AAA publishers see a decent profit in seeking legal action. Hell, you could make download threads for AAA titles as far as I know, it's just that there has been none involving explicit sexual content; the higher you could get would be Illusion, and they are far from AAA.
- And finally, it was not me who made wild claims about piracy hurting sales. Learn to read.

I became a Patreon (lowest tier for now) after discovering the game here Never heard of it before. I know it takes a lot of time to produce such a work, but the $10 price tag seems pretty steep to me for that release set.
And don't get too upset about the criticisms here. Your game currently has a 4.5 ratings here. I also don't see any problem with text speed, especially considering that there's not a lot of texts.

Usually this is for one of two reasons:
- The dev enjoys working with those kinks (and, since 99.9% of them don't make a living from this, they'd better enjoy doing it for its own sake), or
- The dev thinks that these kinks are going to make his or her game more popular and get more supporters.

Do what you want everyone, but I personally hate this "game" format. If possible, I always try to obtain the image set so I can simply navigate it from the file explorer and skip all the dumb dialogues.
It's easy in this case. Almost the whole filesize comes from the file images.rpa, which is in the game folder.
Just download this RPA extracter:
Then simply drag-and-drop the images.rpa file on it. This will create the images directory with all images and animations in it.
