Hi guys, just a quick post. I'm currently setting up the light sources for the whole house and rendering. I will make a more detailed post either here or on discord as soon as I finish this last bit of work. Have a nice day everyone.
PS.
I'm glad I switched from Daz to Blender, because with the tools I have now I can control absolutely everything in the scene. Especially the lighting, the rendering results are very good and you will see these examples in the next post.

Hey guys. As the title says, I'm starting to render in Blender, which means that working on the game has resumed and continues. It took me three months to learn Blender and two months to transfer and customise the game assets. Transferring and customising the daz game assets into Blender took a little longer than planned, but that's because there was a lot of stuff in that part that needed to be reworked and customised. And since I am a complete beginner, I had to learn and study a lot of things by trial and error, and not everything worked the first time. Now I more or less know what and how it works, and customising things that used to take hours now takes a few minutes. Okay, now a few words about the game itself. The most important change is that the game will change its format from a kinetic VN to a semi-open sandbox, without the boring vanilla and the big grind. This way, I'll be able to add different scenes at any time, without being limited to one scene. The plot and scenes will be much more interesting than before, I have taken constructive criticism into account. That's all I can say for now, have a nice day everyone.

It seems perfect to me that a Semi Sandbox mode happens, it will give it a more entertaining touch than a simple story told like a book

Hey guys. I'm starting to adapt and get used to the progress of working on the game, and this is what I can say after the first week of working in the Blender. Firstly, it is now a pleasure to work on posing a character in a scene, you can fix any part of the character's body in place and it will not move when interacting with other parts. In Daz, this is a big problem that really annoys me, especially when working with the character's legs, and not only. Secondly, I can now do sculpting and character morphing on the spot in a Blender program, without having to use other software such as ZBrush. It has become very easy to edit the cloth grid and correct errors that occur. It takes a lot less time than before. I've probably said this before, but I'll say it again: when working with lighting in a scene, a lot of functionality is now available. For example, if the character's face is looking down in a certain position and it's darkened in the render, you can fix that by adding a new light source that only lights and interacts with the character's face and nothing else, it's pretty cool. There are other advantages, but for now I have highlighted this main one, I will add more in the future. In general it has become more comfortable to work, although of course there are some disadvantages, but I just need time to get used to these features of Blender, after all I used Daz Studio for a very long time and there are other functionalities. I'm currently working on the opening scene and there are spoilers, so I'll just post a little teaser in the discord, but I'll post more as time goes on. Have a good day everyone.
PS.
Starting next week, I will try to improve my work efficiency and the numbers should increase, but it is important to keep in mind that rendering takes time. View attachment ch1_12_3.webp

For me it also doesn't matter if it's a 100% linear vn or vn/sandbox (semi-open), as long as the game remains interesting, with good content and organized. With this the game will still be on the right track.

I agree, the idea for the game is already great, if it keeps going like this it will be amazing.

Here's a summary for now so people don't get out of hand.

1st:
After the developer released version 0.01c in April, he decided to switch from DAZ software to Blender in mid-June/July.

2nd:
During this period from June/July to October/November, he learned Blender as much as possible.

3rd:
So he decided to return to the game's development, just look at the latest messages to better understand this point.

4th:
User AMUR48 is not the developer, he is a supporter.

I'll add that I don't have a link to the discord, because I can't invite, I tried, but it was written that there are no rights, I wrote about this, but people simply don't look at the thread that I wrote, I understand that you need to search a lot, but I don't want to answer every time someone asks
