Lately I have been finding that a lot of games that aren't RPGM are getting the RPGM tag and because of it games are being sorted into that folder (I have mine set up to do {engine}\{game}\{version}). Is this being caused by something on my end? My temp fix has just been manually removing the RPGM tag and re-installing it through the program.

Doing simple tag searches finds a ton of issues with it. this was just renpy+rpgm
Many also seem to have ALL the tags.
A global clean is prob needed.
On a side note, my client is getting slower and slower. esp after startup. does it load some sort of cache before images are actually loaded? seems to take a few min before images are loaded on the regular.
Generally slow and sluggish.
And lets not get into the wrong images on the files still, still need to fix those.

Is it installed on a HDD or SSD? I noticed mine lagging out too, moved it onto one of my SSD's and I haven't had many issues since. Still getting the occasional game that gets a random RPGM tag, not happening with any other tags though so thats weird.

Yeah, mine is on an SSD. laggy as hell. might just be overloaded. have over 1500 installed games on the thing.
But i really dont think that should be an issue at all, it shouldn't make it worse like that at all, not like its loading everything at once.
Think it just might be the Database reads and write limits. Might also be an issue.
But the metadata site seems to be offline atm, it might also just be slow cause it can't get a connection to the server as its suppose to load things on the fly like screenshots.

OK, site is actually up, my DNS didn't resolve it. Had a fresh format over here so i got reverted to the IPS DNS instead of CloudFlare or Google as a DNS. Access to the site is restored here. time to update all the games then.... shit. like 2 weeks of them now. sigh. what a pain.

Still, the client should not be close to unusable or get more laggy if it can't get a connection to the metadata site.

Everything is super snappy once the client had a connection to the metadata server here cause of the dns change locally.
anyone can really verify this by turning off their network for a few min as they use the client.

Would really love an export of sorts of those urls for easier dumping into the browser.
Something like a OneTab Export Text Generation would prob be wanted so it could easily be imported into OneTab for easier rundown of all of them.
Opening that many tabs will either make the server mad or browser resources unhappy.
Either or is a bad thing really.
Guess the best bet atm is to open as many im comfortable with, cleaning out the crap and adding the rest to onetab for download processing/fetching into JDownloader (Now even a more of a hassle cause F95 has anti-scraping gates for certain urls from sites like Mega.nz.

Exporting F95 thread urls with game title name at each line makes sense.
So it just had an url per line and SPACE | SPACE then title (which you can has as whatever. just having the game title would make sense. or maybe title+version)
Enabling that as an export to clipboard would make the most sense to import easily into the import feature of the browser plugin.
Think this is better than having a button to open all new update urls in the default browser. that can get messy far too quickly.
This would still require the user to visit the site and all that, since you don't want to scrape the download links.

Found a MAJOR bug!
The Delete all Screenshots button that is suppose to delete all acreenshots for the title in question only (why would it otherwise?)
Resets all manually picked thumbnails!
Lost about an hour of corrections cause of this now!
Guess that was the cause of it all before aswell!

Anyone know how to get back the default screenshots of a game? Accidentally deleted the ones for Shelter, can't seem to get them to reload. Tried the download screens button and reloading the game page in the program. Hope I don't have to manually add em back. Gonna force a sync with the database incase that will help, just takes a while lol

Yeah I also have some problems with the screens and the download screens button does nothing. It even removed the last screen I had for a game. Tell me if you force sync and if it works.

Yeah, have seen the reload/re-download/refresh button not working on some games. seems to be random titles. For me atleast it works on MOST titles. Annoying that it re-downloads the cropped square thumbnail every time aswell.

Yeah, should have more official support for sure. Should also be on github and allow pull requests too!
Heck, even just a pinned thread would do wonders prob.
But one would still be limited by one dev and i have so many damn ideas for this.
Sad there is no way to help out at all.
The only one-man-army of a dev i have seen is the Hydrus dev.
Having the F95 have an official game wiki with updating entries that can be reused as a metadata server would make sense too, outside of the game title threads.
Heck, even just a pinned thread would do wonders prob.
