I plan on doing a check option that will check if games in local database are correctly linked to games on the server and if you don't have duplicates.

Bonus question : are you using the side tab?

Nope, dont use the side tab at all in anyway. Yeah.
Process everything or atleast everything installed and marked as fav.

I would also love an option to open up the update title threads in the default browser.
An option for everything, one for "owned" and one for favs. Think that would be useful instead of right clicking then clicking the link on each of them. gets old quickly.

Strange one from just now. According to the latest updates I should be getting Android Life, Hentai university and Sculptor as the latest update but instead I'm getting Android Life 3 times

I will be on holiday next week, so I hope the update system will work properly because if not I won't be able to fix it until I come back.
There won't be any update this week, I'm currently updating the game's creator link. It is the last thing that is not automated, I still have 803 updates to do :p.

The newest updates seems to have stabilized things a bunch over here.
Do still have issues where the manually set thumbnail isn't being kept over time and restarts of the client.
Set a whole bunch of thumbnails correctly as i wanted it before on my favs and it was all messed up on the next start.
Unsure if this is a image ID issue at all cause when i refresh the images with the refresh button, they all change location in the thumbnails.

Maybe use hash based image id instead of the URL or thread id or what you are using atm.

EDIT: deleting images locally seems to be an issue and doesn't work at all at this current release.
Like to nuke the old 128x128 square thumbnails as they don't look great as previews on hover at all.

EDIT 2!:
Was going over my favs, to force a refresh after using the check feature (it still updates the date of the game).
As i where setting the thumbnails to the banners as i want it.
I noticed there was a banner missing on one of the games so i manually added it from the site.
I set it as the thumb but once i exited out of the detailed view of the game, found all my past set thumbnails was reset again eventhough i set it just minutes ago correctly.

So half an hour of clicking to get thumbnails just right and make sure everything was updated just thrown out of the window.
Far from the first time this has happened sadly

Hope this database inconsistency gets fixed at some point.

You might want more tables, more database and more entry points for a better structure if thats an issue.

Every time i click download screens to refresh it, most of the time it changes the location of the images. As i said, might be an image ID issue. changing to image SHA256 might be it. but that would require a full download of the file though i guess. hmmm not ideal either.

MAJOR install bug! Tried installing https://f95zone.to/threads/37312/ as just an url for the online version. selected the internet shortcut as usual, this havent been an issue in the past.

it make the V7 folder for sure, but it placed images from a ton of games i had opened in the last minutes as i was going through a bunch of updates.

It also for some reason moved by old v5 install into the v7 folder aswell with the screenshots from the other games from game-list. a latest version folder was also made filled with screenshots.

Something really weird is going on here. i would think it would just take the shortcut and install it in the v7 path as expected. hmmm

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

ahhh, i had the Keep HTML games versions in the same directory set. hmmm

weird, cause its not an html file at all but rather an .url file (those Windows make by dragging the URL to explorer.

But having it fill with screenshots is also so weird. Guess ill turn this option off for now.

If its like that all HTML based games should be in the same folder then it shouldnt be used with the creator/title/version scheme the user setups but rather as a .HTML folder in the base game path.

Also the .url file is not getting imported as a .url either but rather as a .html and .htm. which wouldnt work. not sure where its getting this from at all. opening it, it seems to have text of the game page but the imported url has nothing of that locally either.

Invenstigating this further in the edit menu of the client. It pointed too: %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\IE\OLW2N6Q7\Hentai%20University[1].html

Which would be even weirder now that i turned off the option. Really not sure what the hell is going on here. Settings the path manually to the .url file is getting ignored for the path above.

So i guess Browser game installs is broken ATM?

Seems the updater is live again, thats good.
Noticed they refresh screenshots button also removes images saved if its removed from the site.
Don't think it should do that.
While swapping it all out can be a good thing in many cases. When they remove or change the banner image to something that doesn't have the Logo of the title its not great IMO.

Example with "Bad Hero" which now has a worse banner i think cause of it.

Well yes, the Image and Screenshot system only grabs images on updates of the game. The Dev need to force a refresh of the title on the server side for the metadata to scraped.

Maybe he will add a update request button in the client to easy the updating of old data like this.
