Hi, I recently completed this game and I have some questions. I hope someone can answer them. Who exactly is Nero? A demon, I know, but is he a powerful one, a weak one, or something?
MC is supposed to be a copy of Nero, right? Just like Julia is a copy of Lilith.
MC's father says her mother was a devout Christian (a human), but then they tell us she's, what? An angel? (I should clarify that I'm playing with a Spanish translation mod, so maybe it's a translation issue.)
What exactly is Ruby's relationship with Nero (and MC)?
How powerful is Lilith? And why couldn't she have a relationship with Nero?
I don't know if these questions are due to my lack of understanding, or if the game simply doesn't explain certain things well. Thanks in advance.

From what I realised mc is a copy of nero.
Nothing is revealed yet, so let's wait for houses of hearts.

Beta release looms closer. I've made another significant chunk of progress since; finally done with Helena's scene and now about halfway through Olivia's, while filling in the blanks of past scenes and fleshing out more stuff in the meanwhile.

I can't wait to finally release the first episode! I may not be confident in many things, but I have 100% confidence in the product I have in store. It is great; I know it firsthand. It just takes so much work to get it out.

It is VERY weird that a DAZ project of this level of quality has such little support on patreon, he's 100% right on that. I feel like there's a failure of marketing/engagement on some level going on here. I've seen far worse projects net a minimum of 2k easily so it is pretty weird.

Not really a failure of marketing, but more a failure to follow.
The project started out as a fantastic Netori piece, but the dev decided to change course for CH2 and beyond, making it just another harem game (read: removing Netori entirely).
There are plenty of other Harem games of this quality. That's why the numbers are dropping.
What does the dev mean? The Steam version hasn't released of Game of hearts, has it? It's still on my wishlist. I'm flabbergasted at the lack of current support, but I hope when it releases on Steam, this will bring him all the moneys, or at least a superior and stable income.

I doubt that's the sole or even primary reason, and it's honestly not even clear how much the netori elements have been dialed back for Season 2 yet.
Almost every dev I've followed and supported has had a slump in supporters between "game" releases. It almost always jumps back up when the next release comes out. He's still way up in subs from a year ago, and I bet will have another similar boost when House of Hearts comes out.

He's probably talking about metrics he can see like total number of people that have wishlisted it, page views, and whatnot.

Uhh... no. A good chunk of the most successful avns on this site are harems, if anything netori is the niche genre here.

Ah, that makes sense! That's a bummer. And I agree, I don't think the harem genre works against this game. Maybe it looks too dark for folks? I didn't know what to expect at first also. :/
To be fair, it's nothing to worry about in terms of analytics:
1) While he was releasing content, there was consistent growth in his patreon (no stagnation or decline)
2) the steam release will help with monetization/exposure thanks to the algorithm
3) the youthful cast of the next game is likely to appeal to a wider audience as opposed to the two MILFs in this one
I can understand his frustration as he's probably putting in work that deserves higher remuneration, but if I were him I wouldn't worry about it. I'm fairly bullish on his prospects.

Yeah, I think he’ll be fine. I like how he finish with his last update and with how HoH anticipated release he can only continue to go up from here.
I havent heard of any game thats on par with this one, can you name a few?
If you're askng for DAZ, this is pretty much the only high quality harem game. Interestingly, most game devs that do harems opt for Honey Select.

No, I don't think they did, but it was clear from the start that this a Netori game in all but name when Meredith got involved. The MC's task is literally to seduce women away from their normal lives - no matter their families or husbands or kids.
Switching the story up so that never happens again is just a massive cop-out in terms of narrative. Really? None of the women most compatible with MC are in any relationships ever again?

This is a game with netori, not a netori game.
If we have to slap on it a generic term then it would be a corruption game, with netori being one form of it.
Meredith was the LI with the netori angle in GoH, and there will be a different one with the same angle in HoH.
