I must apologise to all left handed users, I claim the game can be played with one hand but really it only suits right handed users (Sounds a bit backwards but we must consider what the dominant hand may be up to!) I have added mouse and numpad support for skipping and answering response menus. I have also added RightCTRL as the same function as LeftCTRL (fast skip) to the next build.there should be a option to choose the mouse over the space bar
I'll be updating the intro images at some point, they were the first bunch of images added (with the exception of Cory, her image was changed last week to what it is now) so they certainly need improved now that I'm more comfortable with the engine and whatnot. Is it just me or is the scaling of the pictures at the start of the game where the characters are being introduced very inconsistent?
Some of the pictures appear as portrait vertical with no scaling but some appear like they have been scaled to 4:3 when they originally were a normal vertical portraits. So they look squished. Their face has the appearance of odd proportions.
I am running at 1920x1080 resolution on full screen.
I have to second the notion of scalable text option in menu. If this is the recommended resolution, the text is too small on my screen.
The text size should be pretty big at 1920x1080 - I've attached a thumbnail of what my game looks like on that resolution. Can you let me know if your text is similar?
If you press escape or click the menu button at the bottom left corner you will get a menu that will allow you to save your game. Just click on save and savegame, note that saves at the moment will restore you to the start of a conversation area rather than exactly where you were - work in progress on that!I like this kind of game when you can be either male or female and choose your own orientation.
I will wait for all the bugs to resolve.
Problem so far,
1 Dont know how to save the games.
2 All the images when events occured doest show.
Cant wait to play the fixed version.
Thank you
Regarding events not showing, that's something I'm looking into. There should always be an image showing, whether it is just a simple room/location or characters so if the screen is blank, something has gone wrong somewhere. My suspicion is that when skipping (via CTRL or hitting space quickly) some script calls aren't happening fast enough.
Thank you all for your feedback, I hope to get these issues fixed today and hopefully present you with a stable-er release. These first few releases should uncover most if not all of the technical issues with the game, once they are fixed the framework for adding more content is all there so once I get over these technical hurdles, content shall flow.
Cheers
