I bet y'all noticed that 98% of the games on this site are made by men and I feel like most of those dev's never got the chance to talk with women irl, because the dialogs with girls in their games lack of credibility and hardly make sense.
So I thought I could try some games made by females and see if their female characters are more credible.
So if you know a game made by a female or you're a female developer you can post all recommendations here.

Mortze/Tlareo was M/F duo who wrote together, have now split.

EvaKiss probably the most known at this site For Good Girl Gone Bad

BlackStar.Gamez A Sister's Love, are now a Mom so she's not active at the moment.

Those are the onee I can think of on the top of my head.

I'm a woman.
I'm not sure that the credibility of a character is a matter of the author's gender.
I mean, it's all about personality. If the character is close to you, you won't have trouble writing believable reactions. If, on the other hand, the character is completely opposite to yours, it is more difficult.
The age of the character and her life experience also counts a lot.

There is also the fact that we create porn games. This completely distorts the reactions of the protagonists most of the time.
For example, in my game, the MC reacts in a way that moves the story forward. No "real" girl would put up with what she accepts from the guys around her like that.
Kind of like the difference between opening the door to a pizza guy IRL or in a porno.

(Sorry for my EngRish)

I'd still include "experience in being a man/woman" as contributions to life experience and character/personality though.

In terms of porn games it should only matter in a modern "slice of life" setting with a focus on realism or the author's personal fantasies. Or in a broader correlation study I guess, if you could somehow obtain a representative sample.

As a man I can't say any of the male characters strike me as particularly realistic either though. Granted as a nerd with no friends I'm not exactly "public normal" but a lot of characters more closely resemble those unanimously voted the scum of the Earth in customer service or "revenge" subreddits than normal people in everyday life.

If only women could write believable female characters, we wouldn't have so many great male book authors.
Or conversely, male characters would all be bland in novels written by women.

However, we have to admit that being a dev of a porn game does not make us a writer. We all have our limitations and need to improve. Most of us (devs) learn by doing.
Making a game means inventing the plot, writing the dialogues, (often translate,) coding, drawing. Most of us are alone to do this, sometimes two, rarely more.
Some devs are better at dialogue, some at images, some at coding. No game will please everyone.
We make porn games, we do not aim at literary prizes.

I take the example of my game: My goal is that my heroine be credible in her evolution in the game. Not that her reactions are those of a real woman.
When I invented this character, I made her young but with the sexual freedom of a mature woman. My goal is that she doesn't ask herself all the questions that a real woman would ask herself about the way other people look at her. That she be free of the taboos of our societies. She is not afraid of anything, she has no limits. She likes sex, she want sex and she charms all the guys she meets.
This is by no means the reality for a young woman in this world.

So...I'm a woman but women in my game aren't realistic.
Does this mean that women cannot identify with the heroine? I hope no

That logic does totally not follow, I really don´t get what are you basing it on.
Their point was that we have so many great male authors because women can't write believable characters. They're completely ignoring how women had to take on fake men's names to simply get into the industry so people would buy their book, let alone the obvious financial issue and that of connections to the industry that so many had to face.

Just because there are great authors who are men doesn't make women any worse in writing. There's a ton of factors why there's more male writers than women that I haven't mentioned and none of which have anything to do with inherent genetics.

She started off with an unnecessary sexist point is what I'm getting at.

This had me scratching my head, but I think I understand what's going on. I think you gramatically misunderstood this sentence:

If only women could write believable female characters, we wouldn't have so many great male book authors.
She wasn't saying that women can't write believable female characters (which would be a sexist statement to make), she was saying that women aren't the only ones who can write believable female characters (which is the opposite of a sexist statement).

I guess it is a necromancy but I've stumbled upon such threads in the past looking for similar informations and always was annoyed by how little gems people actually post.

While technically not "games", there are certain mods that are good to check out.

Interestingly enough, some of the best stories I've seen in general were made by female writers in...Neverwinter Nights 1. With female protagonists that behaves feminine at that!

I'm not just talking about porn aspect but the viewpoint that is vastly different from the usual "jerk off smut". You get to care about the emotions of the main heroine.

Prime examples would be:

A Dance with Rogues Part 1 and 2 - probably the best one out there, a game of its own for quite a few hours of interesting gameplay. Made by Valine. Really non-linear for a mod (more than some RPG games even). Quite a few potential romances (from kind and gentle, to pure badboy-rapist for those that like their men dangerous) and multiple potential sex encounters, including whoring yourself for money/information/items (with a risk of catching disease as a penalty). Most sex stuff is avoidable, except for initial rape that sets the story.

Demonheart (Prelude, Chapter 1 and 2) - quite dark and explicit. Turned into a self-contained game on steam some time ago but I like the mod better. It was a bit linear if I recall correctly.

Gladiatrix 1, 2 and 3 - a funny take on a noble girl that escaped her house and joined the gladiator school. Also among top 3 mods out there. Somewhat non-linear, with a few potential romances of both genders.

Kunoichi - a french-made, unfinished little gem (part 3 was never finished, sadly) about the struggles of female ninja. Still worth checking out :)
