trying to progress enough through the modelling substory to influence a visit for Quin to finish the Council Tasks. How do I make that work?

Influenced visits are done by sending an expedition to their world and using the influence ability on the away party. You need 60 like with relevant party member.

Think that might actually be it - it appeared as a heart emoji in the post as well, and I think it's because of a Chrome extension (Global Twitch Emotes) - disabled that, reloaded and it stepped through fine.

Might also explain why it would occasionally work fine on startup (because presumably the extension hadn't parsed it by then).

Ah, sweet! Glad we found it. Was racking my brains trying to figure out why it hated Derin. Good find on that spacing, had I even noticed it I would never have questioned it tbh. I'll do a ctrl+f in the source files for any others. Thanks

Hey Feebs great game so far! Though I think I have found a bug, where after I finished gathering wealth for Astra I can't seem to get the game to recognise that. In fact, when I try to talk to Isolda, she wanted me to restart the beginning of the quest. I have attached both screen shot and file.

Though Isolda keep offering Astra's task intro is indeed a bug, you can still complete it. Once you've got over 5k, go to Gateway B to talk to Astra. You don't turn it in via Isolda. I'll remove the erroneous council tasks option in next ver. Thanks for reporting.

Champions are travelers connected to their patron and able to channel their powers... like a Warlock in some fantasy games!
Enforcers are similar but way more powerful having their power derived from the council. They're basically interdimensional peace-keepers who do the council's bidding.

Thank you. That's pretty much what I thought.
I wanted to make sure because
The council asked me about it a couple of times...Why I called
the Enforcer and did it help..

But I never called the Enforcer. I also am not positive about the
sex and enforcer part with ummm.. Meriya...

Was just wondering as it didn't really jive w how I thought my choices/game went...

Couple other little things, but so far the enforcer part was just curious.
(Unless I just forgot abt the Enforcer...maybe it was part of the story in New Eden where
I didn't have any choice...I was thinking I called Piper and that was it.......)

I was also confused by that. Fortunately I figured it out before you mentioned it, but it would be good if the hint for the task "Gaining Wealth" would mention Astra or would say "...and then go to Gateway B" or something similar.

I also think that the hints inside the Velvet Pleasures could be improved a bit. For the first two potential performers, their hint says "Evaluate <name> at the Glitter Box then ask her about performing". I was confused because I had already evaluated these girls before building the Velvet Pleasures and I could not find a way to evaluate them again. It took a while for my slow brain to understand that the part of the hint after "then" was disconnected from the first part and could happen at any time.

A few other minor things in random order:

• Having Annisa as a performer in Velvet Pleasures, clicking on the "Talk" button triggers the error: "Error: the passage "kyler" does not exist"
• In the "Rota" window of the Velvet Pleasures page, if I use the drop-down menu to select another day (I have a weekly schedule), then I get a pop-up with a Javascript error: "Error: resetRotaVars is not defined" followed by a stack trace. After dismissing the popup, the console shows "Uncaught ReferenceError: resetRotaVars is not defined at HTMLSelectElement.eval (eval at call.output.output (Gateway%200.3.0HF3.html:3:140549), <anonymous>:1:387) ..."
• When Gemma is performing with Annisa (passage "krissysex" / "kyler02"), there is a distinctive lack of text around the videos. The scenes are hot, but still...
• In the passage "kenziesex" / "dream105", she says "Been a slut for you is so much fun." but it should probably be "Being a slut (...)". I guess that this is what she says in the video, although listening to her reminded me that "perfect diction" was not at the top of the checklist for hiring a porn actress.
• In the Calendar for Ava, her schedule says "18:00 - 22:00 Kyliehome" but this is not the name that the players see on the map.
• In the passage "eastsex" / "pro103", she says: "A lady never tells! But I can say I've now personally verify some of it." That should be: "personally verified".
• In the description of the Library: "Assign workers here to increase their wisdom, which increases how quickly they can skills." That should be "(...) they can learn skills."
• When Piper mentions Gerald in the morning (passage "kylieanswers", <<else>> branch of <<if $mc.events.eastresolved == "convinced">>), there is a subject missing when she says: "Even if truly believed the stories about (...)" That should be "Even if I truly believed (...)"
• In the passage "geraldchat2", in a similar <<else>> branch, there is a closing tag that is incorrectly written as an opening tag: "<<say kylie>>Settle down, pipsqueak.<<say>>", triggering two red error messages "Error: cannot find a closing tag for macro <<say>>"
• In the passage "east-neholdings" when Belinda is gone, the MC thinks: "Must be here day off, or she's on a break, or something." That should be "Must be her day off"
• Talking about transformations with Tiffany (passage "moniqueanswers" / "trans") starts with an undefined variable _w. The MC says: "_w.refer and I were discussing transformation, and I thought maybe you would be interested?"
• In the passage "kleioanswers" / "date", the test <<if $kleio.name == "Seraphina">> could be improved by testing if the name includes "Seraphina" instead of testing for equality. But this will only be useful for the 0.1% of the players like me who keep the original character names and add a suffix to it. So maybe you can forget this suggestion before discovering the hard way that Twine is rather picky when it comes to parsing Javascript expressions in an <<if>> test.
• The video img/kylie/kenna06.mp4 stops after 10 seconds although the counter says that it should be 28 seconds long.
• The fake boobs are a bit too obvious during the first few seconds of img/east/coffee/three04.mp4 but that's not your fault.
• I spotted several other typos that I will report later because I did not write them down and I have to replay the scenes, but one of them was funny in the passage "embersex" / "perform07": "Were you never taught not to speak with your moth full?" I didn't know that they were stuffing moths.

trying to get Char substory to the point where Quin influenced visit goes through. currently getting "progress more in Charlotte Substory" on influenced visits

with Isolda and others, if it didn't say
"End of current content" all the time in the tracker.

I found a new bug if you talk with someone on a rest slot at the Spa and they have a dialog with a 'continue' button you end up in the Waiting Room (Kylie for example)

also you can talk to Sena at the Embassy when she is not there

and lastly the attractiveness bonus from shoots does not show at the studio but the income does ... income also appears under miscellaneous bonuses again

I think she calls her auntie because she is older but she is not actually related to you or her as far as I know.

Yes, I had almost wondered the same but was just checking.
