Just tried to see, if the extended version has something new compared to the existing one. When trying to load, I did run into an exception error immediately. Started with an earlier save in the Cassandra scene. Downloaded two exceptions in a gif file and had 6 other ones in the same scene. Then it was stable for a while, the next bigger exceptions around the Satoshi scene. Guess some rework is needed

About Chapter 2 Part C
Part C is coming along nicely right now. I'm much better off than I was earlier this year. I won't give specific percentages or dates until I know exactly what remains to be done. The most significant potential roadblock could be compatibility issues with Chapter Report or Intimacies, but only time will tell.
I'm currently working on the Cassandra's scene.
This scene is totally optional. It has different outcomes and variations depending on how you dealt with Cassandra.
Oh, there's another one too...
I'll include more "intense" previews in another post. This update will likely include the most animations to date!
Not much else to say about development.
About Special Renders Schedule
This is something I've been thinking about for a while. I believe that working on three monthly renders is simply too much at the moment. I usually don't reach the three-render mark each month, so some patrons who pledge for access to the monthly set may miss the final one. That's not fair, but I don't see a better option right now. These renders take time to create, and the game remains my top priority.
On top of that, polls currently take about ten days per month, and I can't start working on a render until I know which girl and theme won.
That is why I believe it would be better to set a fixed schedule for polls and render releases.
The polls for girls and themes would go live at the same time, on the same day, every month, and would only be open for a few days, no more than five, to collect votes.
Then, on two specific days per month, I'd release one $10 render and one $5 render.
Yes, that's one less render than I am currently working on, but it is a more manageable pace for me and ensures that everyone who pledges for the renders receives both of them.
I intend to begin this new system in December. Since I'll focus this month entirely on Part C.
New Extended bugfixes
I updated the Extended version again.
Very small update. The changelog is simple:
- Fixed a few bugs related to some variables. This should fix Chapter Report not showing one of Melinda’s interactions correctly. Another variable wasn’t properly defined and will be relevant in future updates.
- Adjusted dialogues that didn’t properly reflect the new options.
- Remade a couple of intro renders that had been bothering me.
To avoid conflicts with Part C and future releases, this update will most likely require a new save. My apologies... there isn't much we can do about it.
I recommend skipping the game (Ctrl) this time to get a fresh save.

But if I had to bet now, my money is on Valerie's "3rd friend", and that friend's name is Daphne...
And given my gambling luck, that's completely wrong...

MC mentions to Daphne about her glasses in the same chapter and the waitress lingering in the background has thick ones... we even get her walking out of frame, almost like an intentionally placed "missed connection" moment.

Not quite there yet...
Daphne said something, had a thought that made it seem like she recognized MC, and the MC made a comment about her name...as if he recognized her, but the name wasn't right.
She may look different, but the MC should absolutely recognize her name... I remember names of girls I went to kindergarten with, weren't best friends, and didn't keep in contact, at all, and that was 45 years ago...
The story of course is intentionally obfuscating the identity...
It's clearly not Stella, or Valerie, who he had to have met after the first one left...
So, either we haven't met her yet, or if we have, she's giving a different name...which of course makes Beth a possibility, but I don't think it's her. That made me think Daphne may have given a different name, or a middle name thing is going on, that the MC didn't know...
IDK. But it's going to drive me crazy speculating...
And the story obviously isn't there yet to reveal her.
So, really going to test my patience with this one, just like How I Met Your Mother...

Just getting started with this one. Much respect to redoubt27 for the tip. I'm just past the beginning and I'm ready for it to end. One look at Miranda Melinda and all she would need to say is "Let's you and me run away to Bali".. .The End. I'd be completely happy. What a beautiful render and what a lovely girl.
