everyone else though always starts off on the wrong foot with the MC.
Yeah, couldn't agree more.
Just like the "mystery boxes", the dev has taken inspiration on how to create hooks and build suspense... But used these elements in the wrong ways.

Like you said, it's WAY more interesting to have a good first impression, to then discover some red flags and work them out, than to be hit in the face with the red flags. I think I said this a while back as well; when the only reason to continue a conversation with an LI is "for the lewd", then the story and narrative failed.

Well, before, I ran into the Free Roam during the time when I had a bunch of games on the Games to Play List, and kinda went into panic mood, and set it aside. Guess kinda like Stella, I jumped to conclusions, because turned out, the Free Roam, though I still prefer without it, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. This time, luckily, the long line of games came after I had started to play upon it, and made it more feeling like may as well continue until I got caught up with the Dev. And the Dev I felt found that spot to end the update at where leaving me wanting to see what happens next. Kinda a tricky thing to do at times, so hats off to the Dev for that one. Anyways, enjoyed the game and looking forward for more. Thank you so very much for this!!!

this concept is kind of funny to me. Because in AVN's I have no issue replaying the game ( with control skip) to play multiple saves or paths. But in normal video games I despise New Game + , for me I play it once and done unless I decided to replay a game months later. Yet I see people that like and want NG+ all the time
thats the problem atleast for me 99% of the time there is such little difference it feels like such a waste of time if all im doing is skipping to what iv not seen yet kinda makes it loose the value and kills any immersion i might have had in the game. but at the sametime im not going to play again without skipping just to see a handfull of scenes. Harem games have their own downfalls for me such as almost always having lesbian stuff and too much emphasis on group scenes though

If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to know about any games they would say are almost entirely different on the second or even third playthrough (bonus points if you actually ENJOYED multiple paths and fount it to be worthwhile).

In the case of "getting intimate", only time will tell. If it's the dev's design to make the LI unlikeable to have them grow on us later, then that could be a good story to tell. But then I expected to be able to react much more harshly in certain situations (eg Cass). And, if the moral of "don't judge a book by its cover" is what drives this story, then it would be better to have the LI be misunderstood instead of hostile or unlikeable.

Personally, I like it when an AVN has several "jump on" points for paths/tracks. The first encounter could be casual sex, something I don't care about. But, the LI remains in our orbit, and we get to know her better, with a 2nd encounter presenting itself to make a move after all. Maybe something like this will be in GI's future? Looking at Belle (?, the shop-girl) it seems like she's getting redeemed.

Hello my little fox cubs,

I did get some time to work on the French version of the game. It is now up to date (and as usual, 100% handmade). For those who might be interested, ou can find it on this page. Feel free to report any problem or typo you'd find.

As for the game... could this cute waitress be our dear Lilly ? I mean... brown hair, glasses, with a typical student job. Little chance but, one can dream.

Er, what gives you the impression it could be her? I didn't see anything even hinting at that, so right now that seems to be just picking any random character that's been introduced in the game.

When the MC is with Daphne and gives her a (very little) description, here it is :
"She was a bit nearsighted. So she wore glasses, although they didn't look bad on her."
"In high school, she started dyeing her hair like her favorite rock band... So her hair color was constantly changing. I think it was... dark brownish?"
It's not much and obviously, it would be difficult to imagine Lilly and the MC didn't recognise themself at the moment, except if Paris is the one who made the order. But on the other hand, putting this character in the background and make her do stuff is more work for the team. If it's only for atmosphere, then I bow to the guys. A lot of dev don't bother to put background atmosphere in a scene.

Seems like a stretch to me, but I won't deny the possibility that you're right. Personally, though, I think it's a yet-to-be-revealed character. Shrug.png

I have to admit it's a stretch. The game has some rich backgrounds, with characters and moves. But this character is the closest and more detailled background character till now; the one present on the most renders and the one with the most detailled "action". It feels different from the other times. But maybe it's just the team improving that part of the work even more than before.

This game keeps re-using the same dynamic of having a character make a bad first impression followed by the MC having to look or get past that in order to build up a relationship. It's A LOT of the first interactions with a character:
  1. The landlady that missed your mom's funeral
  2. Beth stealing your phone and acting self-important
  3. Stella being a spoiled whiner
  4. Satoshi selling his sister's panties
  5. Sex addict jumping you immediately when you meet.
  6. The principal making you jump through hoops just for her to be of no help.
My problem with this dynamic is that in most cases we don't have any goodwill built up with those characters, so there's really no good reason to salvage a relationship that doesn't really exist yet. If a stranger comes into my life acting like an asshole, it isn't even a matter of whether I forgive them or not. I would just avoid them going forward, whether I keep resenting them or not. You don't make the effort to work things out with people that don't mean anything to you yet.

Also, when so many characters act the same like that. It starts feeling like it isn't really their own personal characteristics as much as it's just a pattern/tendency that the writer keeps abusing.

While I get your point, for me I don't have a problem with Melinda missing the funeral. She was in a different city being overworked and feels like crap about. Out of the others you mentioned only Stella (Queen Bitch) and Cassandra really are problematic for me, as they are straight up bitchy or manipulative (hot as fuck though lol).

Satoshi isn't a Li so I don't care that much about him. lol He's mostly just annoying in how desperate he is for a friend.

Also there are other important characters that aren't like that like Val, Daphne, Paris, Ivy, Austin, Sayuri.

With respect to the obsession with finding Lilly. I mean its par for the course with these kind of games with missing Lis/friends who the Mc has to search for. That's the premise and foundation of the game.

It's always a problem of why should the player care when we don't know her, nor did we have a choice in their relationship. At least the Mc knows his obsession is unhealthy so maybe he will calm down a bit over time.
