Hi, sorry if this question has already been asked/answered.

But are gifdoozer's Tifa animations part of a series or larger or longer animation project? Or are they just shorts not part of anything?

Cause I thought I remembered seeing a Tifa WIP animation that never was finished and was wondering if I'm mis-remembering.

Thanks!

Ah ok. I think that might’ve been it. Thank you!

They've got so many Tifa animations I've lost track of what's what. (Hopefully more to come too, lmao)

How dare you insult a man in his own thread
He's just not a snob with an inflated ego and greed (aka, hydrafxx).
Who doesn't understand how the Internet works and that respect is more expensive than money.?

his grammar and sentence structure here seems to be as close to atrocioys as it couldve been

Whish i could ignore rigging completely
What benefit does using daz with blender offer?
Using daz is cool because rigging is crazy hard and time consuming if you really really wanna make a GOOD rig. like best example that comes to mind is Yobo's D´va from smutba.se everything just has an armature modifier. no corrective shapekeys, no corrective smooth modifiers, no tricky displacements... everything could be achieved with a good rig. like you could generate face wrinkles and stuff for expressions with just bones. but it would take a lot of time and it's something i would not advise doing unless you're gonna work with that model nonstop.for example like wildeer does with his lara model. otherwise, if you're like most of us that like changing and using different characters, daz is great as it has a lot of shapekeys for anatomy and even more for customisation like body shapes, expressions etc :3 plus, the massive outfit library you can get from daz <3

Thats great to know, sweat blood in the last couple of weeks trying to look everything right and still notice fucked up shit in new positions.

So you sculpt and retopo in blender, export it to daz to rig it and back to blender to animate?

TIFA'S TUBE UPDATE: it's been literal years since i posted that intro animation. Why have i postponed it? several reasons, but mostly final image quality and details like hair, tentacles and mocap for animation's into. there was stuff i was simply not ready to make. Simply put i did not felt ready to make a decent 20 minutes long animation that i would be proud of. Image below is the OG one, compare that to my recent works and now picture the final result. The recent tifa posts are me just messing arround with the final thingies i wanna master (tentacle physics) as i already know how to make the hair better, my render quality has improoved and i got better hardware to afford better quality. Even got a backup PC that will render scenes as i work on the next one, even a mocap suit to record the intro where Tifa, escorted by Don Corneo arrives at a shinra facility, meets scarlet and tells Tifa about the experiment they wanna do (which results in tifa dealing with the tentacles). all this is imagined as an alternative timeline where tifa goes to don corneo in the game. Also, i managed to finally write a decent script that will inlcude 3 parts. each being roughly arround 15-20 minutes (yes, minutes). So get ready as this takes me completely out of my confort zone of 20 second animations. and it's definitely gonna take months to make each part) Below there's a very very brief summary of what each part is. SPOILER ALERT: Part 1: tifa gets there and does the experiment Part 2: Experiment ends and the facility windows open revealing a blood moon (blood moon tentacles) Part 3: Tifa tames the tentacles and gives Skarlet some of her medicine
