Huh, well then how does Joiplay work? It allows you to play on Android and you can play a 12GB game with one file. Oh well, regardless of the reason, it's no longer getting Android releases.It's not an arbitrary limit, it's a technical one. Files on some filesystems just can't be larger than a certain size. Why Android uses FAT32 without Large File Support like it's the early 90s or something I have no idea, but it isn't an arbitrary limit you can just toggle off. Android apps that need more than 2GB of data have to break it up into multiple smaller data files instead of one big one, and they can't all be downloaded in one package (because this would defeat the purpose).
