FYI - Hi all. There is a pretty big bug in the game where it is next to impossible to increase the 'pav_slut' variable. A lot of content is gated off unless pav_slut is 150 or higher. In version 0.8.3.2 there are very few ways to raise this. Since the game is best played as the MC being a slut (otherwise there is less than half as much content to play through) you can turn yourself into a slut by using the Console and inputting the following: pav_slut = 160

The 'pav_slut' variable affects your slut status in Pavlovsk. New sex events and opportunities will open up especially with the gopniks. The vast majority of events start at pav_slut 150 or higher, then a few more at 200 or higher, and then a few more at 250 or higher.

Keep in mind that your life will change drastically after doing this... Make a save game in case you change your mind later.

If you wish to check your pav_slut stat, type the following into the Console:

'<<pav_slut>>'

The number will show up below the text in the main window (where all the videos, pictures, and text is displayed).

I've been playing Girl Life again quite a bit over the past two months. I've dug into the code quite a bit and have sent Kevin Smarts a number of bugs, mostly with the code fix to accompany it.

The sweet spot for the most content from my research has been a pav_slut between 151 and 200.

I reported this bug to Kevin Smarts roughly a month ago. Perhaps he is already on it, don't know for sure.

There are numerous checks in the code for the pav_slut variable but only one instance of the stat increasing.

If you do a QGen search of the 0.8.3.2 QSP for the following:

pav_slut +=
pav_slut+=

Only one result is found between both searches. I found this bug on accident after playing the game extensively for a month and checked why all the gated content wasn't available to me and after checking my pav_slut variable it was still zero. I couldn't believe it as I did all sorts of slutty things throughout Pavlovsk and at school.

This isn't going to be an easy bug to fix as all the content in Pavlovsk needs to be gone through and decisions will have to be made on each activity/event on which ones increase the pav_slut variable. I'm guessing there is at least 50+ events/activities in Pavlovsk that will need the following code added:

pav_slut += 1 (or) pav_slut += rand(0,1) (or) pav_slut += rand(0, 5)

Events such as leaving your shirt/blouse unbuttoned at school when students stare at you (buttons came undone).
Watching students have sex in the school bathrooms.
Opening your legs to give a teacher a better look at your pussy in class.
Allowing the boy behind you to grope your breasts during class.
Doing sexual activities in the school bathrooms with boys and girls.
Wearing revealing clothing to school.
Doing sexual activities at the gloryhole in the community center bathrooms.

I set my alarm for 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday for school. That gives me plenty of time to do a quick workout, shower, get dressed, and eat with my family at 7 a.m. and then I leave for school. High School starts roughly at 7:45 a.m.. There is no school on the weekend, Saturday and Sunday (at least not for High School).

Hi, thanks. Yeah been laid up lately, was in the hospital not to long ago for over a week and just had my liver drain tubes removed today. So I am on the mend and getting back into things again.

But keep in mind if your slut rep is to high you become a outcast slut and then a lot of content is blocked. I don't know the exact number but the most content is for a Sveta that is kinda slutty but not to slutty. Some stuff require very high or very low but most content is open in that sweet spot.

There is something wrong with University.
Took the semester 1 exam in December. After passing it, university gave me scholarship, but if I'd go to University after that I get the option "take exam" again which fails.
So I reloaded and took exam only once, then wasted all December and January. Got back in February for the 2nd semester lectures. While it says "you are enrolled at the University" I only get the "Leave" option. It is 18 february, checked daily and no lectures.

It's not a bug but the feature unfortunately, pav_slut is handled by 'fame' now, changing it directly will roll back the next day for sure or the next recalc - but issuing for example: gs 'fame', 'pav', 'sex', 20 & gs 'stat' & gs 'fame','calculateSlut' & fame['pav_slut'] will change it to around 16 I believe and will show the resulting value (if it was 0 initially, it's adding, not setting). It' s a combination of fame['pav_sex'] and fame['pav_prostitute'] actually.

Isn't "pav_slut " a calculation of several things that happens once a day @ midnight? IIRC from 8.1, changing pav_slut to 150 via console, is only good for the day. ( QGen search of "pav_slut =" in ??cikl??)

I have never prostituted myself in the game but have been very slutty. So if you have to be a prostitute in order to raise pav_slut then that is messed up. You should be able to do additional sexy things with the gopniks (and others) without being a prostitute. Nearly all of the additional sexy events with the gopniks (and others) are gated off with the following in most cases: if pav_slut > 150: do event or allow an additional sexy activity

I strongly disagree with the way it is coded so I ended up fixing it myself (code hack - not a permanent solution). With the way the game is coded and so many events gated off with variables that are difficult to achieve, a lot of players are missing out on doing additional slutty things, especially with the gopniks. Years ago, pav_slut was the gopnik reputation variable. If you do a search of: if pav_slut
in QGen, tons of results come up. This variable is checked a lot.

Oh well, things this complex often don't get fixed. Luckily for some of us we can edit the code to our liking. I've changed 50 or more things in the code to fit my preferences.

some patches, mostly renaming leftover variables city_modelling, city_running to name a few into fame array members (fame['city_modelling'] etc);
fix 111 error related to pantyless appearance at disco ("gs 'inhibition' 1" into "gs 'exhibitionism' 1"), although missing pav_disco_coolkids and pav_disco_gopniks would keep pav_disco without access to classmates, volleyball coach and drunk leaving with either Katja, Sonia or Anushka;
minor changes to shulga_room would unblock written events and dialogs for 12pm-2am period.

It is getting a major overhaul, with more events and the kids a lot more interactive. they will hang out or dance sometimes, and will have more to say, plus some have more events

The fame system was revamped but should overall work more or less the same. It is just more unified from place to place with a better bleed over system. So if you get a rep in one area it spreads more naturally to others. It will likely need to be tweaked a bit is all. Kevin would have a better idea of what is happening

I'm in no way trying to be disrespectful but a few tweaks isn't going to do much to help the situation.

In summary, the player has to turn her sluttiness up to a 9 or 10 by becoming a whore in order to un-gate additional slutty content with the gopniks and others (sluttiness activities rating much lower, maybe 5 - 8 on a scale of 1 to 10). There are few ways to raise pav_slut other than becoming a complete whore and prostituting yourself out. If you don't choose that path in game, you'll never achieve a high enough pav_slut score to unlock all the gated off content which mostly checks the pav_slut variable. If you search the QSP for: if pav_slut - there are a ton of checks for it with lots of gated off content.

So either lots of content will have to have their logic conditions adjusted (gated off content) like regnm suggested above or have a lot more activities and events increase the pav_slut variable. Neither of which is a simple fix or tweak.

My preferred fix would be to include a lot more activities and events which increase your fame/pav_slut variable. In an earlier message, I listed a bunch of activities that I thought should increase the stat. Currently, none of them do because I've done them all and my pav_slut variable was still zero. I basically did nearly everything slutty possible in the game aside from accepting money for sex (whoring, prostitute, doing porn).

I had to put in a code hack so that I could play the additional content that I was trying so hard to get to. Every morning, I had the following code run: if pav_slut < 160: pav_slut = 160

Most players aren't skilled enough to edit the code themselves.

There is some tweaks being made to the new fame system that should fix any issues. From what you guys see there shouldn't be any major changes from the old to the new system, once the new system is tweaked and balanced. It will just take a little time

If one types "gs 'inhibition', 1(or any number)" into console prompt it would give one an error (111)

In game, if at pav_disco PC's is wearing short skirt (PCloSkirt > 2) and not wearing panties it would give the same error (111)

With the recently added pav_disco_jocks if PC attempts to dance with Christina, Lariska or Lina in the same condition (short skirt (PCloSkirt > 2) and not wearing panties) it would give the same error (111). There is no 'inhibition' to receive that 1(2,3...) There is an 'exhibitionism' function though, used in similar fashion in metro_events, ugol for panties specifically.

Side note: Funny fact about pav_disco toilets: in Men's room PC can remove/put back her underwear (dynamic $publicpan), but in Lady's room she can't .

How did you get to it?
I actually played slut for the past few days and didn't run into it.
First raised it through park gopniks + the park meet guys + skip class bathroom (both boys and girls) + stairway sex + uncle misha + etc.
Brought it down to 30 through pray. And finally brought it back up to 300+ before new year school party through naughty pray in less than a day.

EDIT: community center women toilets last stall gloryhole I don't think is working. Neither slut or prostitute fame rise.
