Trying it out again. I decided to go magical MTF schoolgirl. While the into was kinda devastating and frustrating. MC was a real looser (oof) and a little worrying the MC just goes about it without a second thought hes crush died (sif its now water under a bridge and everyone moves on) He didnt even try to protect her from the wolves, still a looser in the end there. Is there any advice about the game people could give to stere the MC onthe the path of a bishoujo ? (was well as powerful mage?) The description about MCs body made it sound like hes now the uglest girl in the whole world. RIP.

IMHO the game is best when played as just the regular school girl start.

There is the journal in the game and there is the wiki which is linked in my sig, but the wiki is updated by the players so is a bit out of date.

I guess bkg just missed it. Tell him/her the scene in question is katjaQW['school_kiss'] 2.
katjaQW['school_kiss'] 0 is the first kiss - without comments or reactions from anyone else.
katjaQW['school_kiss'] 1 is the second kiss - someone sighs, most likeley ivan, but there is noone to be seen when you are done kissing.
katjaQW['school_kiss'] 2 is the final kiss - ivan comments "how beautiful" and the jerk screams "look, look, lesbians". Since its the start of the old threesome scenes with ivan it should be blocked too if you disable guys, either by blocking the katjaQW['school_kiss'] completely or by resetting the variable after 1. Another problem with the katjaQW['school_kiss'] variable is it also triggers at the weekly dance, so you cant talk or dance with katja there anymore when she is horny because all you get is that scene again.
In the old version you could also drag her to an empty room to have (lesbian) sex, this option is missing and now she is the only one who can randomly drag you to sex. So maybe it woult be a good idea to replace the kiss quest with the sex quest if both are horny enough.

Thats the current poll result, maybe you forgot to close it and the result changed over time, but 51% prefer variety now.
Well, after reading here and on tfgames and seeing kevins last statement i would be really interested in a poll about the most prefered start options. Somehow i get the feeling most people play magic/succubus and given kevins statement thats the route with the fewest devs working on.

Yeah but the most popular is keep the Russian flavor but add plenty of variety. yes before the results was higher up with more wanting more of the Russian flavor. At this point I think we do a fairly good job of middle of the road, we of the things we decided to keep was the general feeling towards gays and lesbians, but not as bad as it really is in Russia. But closer to how things was in the US say back in the 80/90's.

Girls kissing is hot, girls getting married not so much. Boys kissing will often get bullied. Like what happens to the one boy in the game if you do the story path where he ends up sucking another guys dick. He is turned into a outcast and bullied from that point on.

The Russian flavor is definitely part of the game's charm. The tension between old world values and new money in a fairly modern setting makes for great atmosphere. I find it somehow more rewarding to play lesbian in a place where there are still taboos surrounding it, since it tracks closer to my experience. Like, a sublime defiance.

That is basically what we are going for, though it is not as bad as it supposedly really is.

No futa, the closest you will get is likely at some point because it is a popular request. There will be a spell that will allow you to wear a strapon and temporarly turn it real for the scene. As that would be fairly easy to code and write, just a bit of alt text if you cast the spell while having a strapon sex scene, so it is described as having a real dick instead. That will be the closest the game will ever have and even when we get around to that, it will be very limited on when you can do it.

The games name is GIRL Life, not Mutant Life. Thats why even the male start ends with a transformation into a girl. So no, you cant become a futa. As far as i know there is only one of those creatures in the whole game, so if thats the content you are after you may look for an other game.

Actually there is two trans in the game but right now you can only find out about one of them. Though as I said to him in my post above, we will likely add a spell that temporarly makes a strapon real. It won't give them what they want but it is the closest the game will have and being able to grow a temp dick with magic is one of the most requested if not the most requested thing we get.

Well it isn't a bug, that is how it was originally written and that was the original intent. BGK is added a lesbian only path with her which use to not be a option long ago. I just said he might want to add that option here until we have the code for sexual orientation in place so he only has to fix the event once. Instead of going in doing a temp fix and then having to go back and second time and change it again when the sexual orientation code is added. So it saves time, means less work, which means he can add more new stuff, instead of fixing something twice.

But I don't know if he will wait or not, I was only pointing out he might wait and why he might wait.

Doubt there will be a forced spell, as a spell like that would make problems. Then people would be like why they can't use it all the time in tons of events and it would just add a ton of work or the spell wouldn't be able to be used all the time which would get players complaining.

That is why I said the closest to futa we will have is limited to Sveta wearing a strapon and then casting the spell to temporarily make the strapon into a real dick. That way we can control which scenes can have it happen, as the NPC would have to agree to strapon sex in the first place. Instead of having to change every sex scene to have it as a option, if that makes sense.

Plus it will make the work to add it much simpler, as we would just need to go to the strapon sex scenes and add a if and else code so you get slightly different text, we would likely use the same images. Because the NPC would believe it is just a ultra real looking/feeling strapon, as that is how magic in the game works. People see magic and then rationalize it away.

So that would let us add a spell like that for those that like it, but with out requiring a ton of work from us and it would be something easily avoided for those that don't want it. As the player would have to go out of their way to learn the spell, then convince a NPC to have strapon sex and then cast the spell. That way those that just want strapon sex have it and those that want a futa gets a small taste of it with out to much work on our part.

6. means all the basic features of katja (getting makeup and random talks) are broken
7. means the start and continuation of her other quests are broken as well because you cant talk to her anymore (for example the no panties quests or unlocking to do homework together and every other quest that starts or continues at school or at the dance)
8. means her whole questline and most of her sidequests are broken as soon as you kissed twice...and you cant prevent kissing when she is horny because she kisses you as soon as you select her
9. while my disgust for this scene is pretty high, its by far not the main reason why i keep complaining about it. It really breaks everything
10. and because it breaks everything it is a bug, caused by a leftover that needs to be gone in order to continue katjas quests

But how does it not require a ton of work if you need to add alternate scenes to every strapon fuck? Considering the small detail you either need to exchange the actor for those scenes (even in porn business girls dont randomly grow a dick) or need to photoshop the pictures (considering all the lingering logos from various porn sites it seems like extra work noone wants to do in the team), not mentioning the video clips with strapons. Then rewriting the text and lastly hoping there are enough futa enthusiasts to make it worth all the extra work while nothing else gets done in the meantime.
For me it only means there will finally be a spell i dont want to learn, but for you it looks like it will be a ton of work and only a few people will appreciate it.

Except both he and I tried it and it is not breaking for us, it players out like it should. Can you send a save right before this happens? Because we can't recreate any issues, beyond you are forced to kiss Ivan which can be a issue for those only wanting a lesbian playthru. That is what I was referring to. If you send us a save then maybe we can find out what caused your issue.

Again you are talking about adding a block to every sex scene then. I mean we are likely going to have to do that with sexual orientation which I think is one of the reasons it is taking so long. No one is looking forward to starting that and adding another one would just make it worse.

I think the most you could help for is maybe the ability to cast a spell to steal arousal from someone pawing at you, to at least then let you get a little feed as a succubus from it and that would be up to keymaster as he is in charge of magic if he even wants such a spell.

As I said magic in the game works similar to the TTRPG Mage. In that when a normal person see's magic they rationalize it away. So for example if Sveta thru a fireball with magic(for those that know DnD) a ball of magic that explodes. On lookers would later remember it as her throwing a grenade.

So with the strapon scenes the original image is fine, because the NPC would still believe it is just a strapon that looked really real and felt ultra real and later would rationalize it way as such. Like there is strapons today with fake cum that spurts out of them. I don't really know how they work never looked into it, but I know they exist.

So the work wouldn't be that much, same images and just a if else for some of the text during the strapon scenes. Also there is not that many strapon scenes really, there is way more other sex scenes in the game. Also again it would added as we work on stuff. We wouldn't just go thru all the strapon scenes and change them, but change them as we work on a file then change those.

Also I wouldn't say it is a small number as it is likely the most or second most requested feature we get asked for. Throw in the bormod which is a mod about Sveta growing a dick is by far the most popular mod and it shows there is a larger number of players that want it.

At a guess I would say somewhere around 20-35% of the players, but that is just me guessing.

I don't think it'd take much work as a temporary fix until the sexual orientation system kicks in. It is possible it is already fixed as I am using the latest build not the release build. A new bug fix build will be getting released soon. So either it has been fixed for a bit but not in the lastest release or the bug requires something more to cause it, as I was unable to cause the issue you mentioned.

Now I'm no coder, nor do I have any idea how project management goes with Girl Life, but that REALLY seems like something you'd want to add sooner rather than later. If you (I don't mean you specifically, just the dev team) keep adding more and more content, that's just more you have to go through AGAIN when this system is implemented when there's already hundreds a coder(s) has to go through. Piling up more content is just going to make that process look less and less appealing and eventually it's going to be so daunting a task no one is really going to want to do it. Just my two cents.

It hasn't been done soon because other systems that have required our attention have been more critical or certain memebers of the team have been inspired to work on them. There has always been more content being added all the time and trying to stop it just to seed something like this simply won't work because we have more content creators than we do coders. Some like nutluck will do all they can to help with widespread changes but many others either won't or don't know how to.

TBF to all of you devs that specific Katja scene is the only one I can think of where the player is forced into something like that so I get why it isn't critical. Other than you know non-con stuff with which your sexuality wouldn't matter anyway. Every other scene/story I can think of you can outright reject.

And I don't know about that Nutluck guy, he almost seems TOO helpful . I think he's playing the long con. I suspect one of these days he's just going to replace all the text in game with blyat and all the clothes with adidas merch.
