Of Birds and Bees was the only game not to disappoint me this month. It updated with the same high volume of smoking renders, improved render quality, and even some smoking during erotic content. Still a horror game that fuels my fetish rather than a porn game for me, but I'm loving it.
Helping the Hotties is yet another game that blueballs with smoking content. The game is set in a rehabilitative summer camp for young adults, which is run by a woman named Eve. Eve is the game's MILF/Mom character, and MC happens upon her smoking a cigarette. She initially tries to hide it, but quickly starts sharing her smokes with the MC. This results in more renders of the MC with a cigarette than her with a cigarette. This is especially aggravating because the text, while only briefly touching on the smoking, is solid. Her sharing the cigarettes isn't random or meaningless; she's signalling that she considers the MC an adult/man that she wants to bond with as such, rather than a child/her little boy. In short, the smoking is actively and deliberately incorporated into the arc of their relationship, so it is all the more annoying when it isn't present.
In addition to the above, there is a scene in the latest update where MC finds cigs in a LI named Naomi's bureau when performing a room inspection. A different girl (Emily, who is certainly not MC's younger sister) is assisting, and suggests that she and MC partake in said smokes. MC declines, which makes perfect sense in context, but we still end up with an LI who explicitly wants to smoke cigarettes whom we never see smoke. In addition, this scene strongly suggests Naomi smokes, though there are alternate potential explanations such as another girl planting them to get Naomi in trouble.
Finally, there is a joint scene early in the game.
I'm gonna add to Deedle's review of Lust Academy. It certainly has, as we've both stated before, a dubious relationship with smoking. You can let Naomi smoke in S1, but she's nowhere to be seen in S2. Now to the new stuff:
1) Dakota posts another pic of her smoking in her instagram.
3) Ashley's smoking is brought up again when she tries to smoke in front of MC. Very promising. Then he lectures her about the dangers of smoking and takes the cigarettes away from her... such a waste of a good scene :-( And it's also inconsistent with his acceptance of Dakota's smoking. He even remembers to grab a lighter in case she wants to smoke in their picnic!
I don't understand why but also if there are a lot of people with a smoking fetish, creators keep on not treat it like a real fetish.
Fortunately we have "Timestamps 1 and 2" but no other...
Always the same fetishism...
Hope things could change.
I wish I could share your optimism, but for everyone of us who would love it, there is someone else who will very vocally hate it. While some games have gotten away with having smoking content without discontent from the target audience, most don't. In addition, making good smoking art is more work than just another vanilla scene, especially if you go the Motkeyz route and make both. I can understand why devs would rather avoid smoking content, especially if they don't get the appeal themselves.
It's a fact you will always find people whining and bitching in porn videos with women smoking, porn stories with women smoking and drawing that have women smoking, with the same complaints on all of them some variation of "it's disgusting, eww, you shouldn't smoke it's bad for you, it would be hotter if she wasn't smoking, ashtray mouth'

I mean I sorta get it, I don't like smoking for myself but in art it's hot as hell. Especially in SS or Timestamps. Plus a lot of these haters never had a gf who smoked cigs, once u do ur whole outlook changes. I miss that ex.
I've been sitting on The Future Radio and the Artificial Pigeons for months, fearing another Happiness Double Room, where all the smoking is in the promotion. Well, not this time. Tsubaki is a chain smoker, and the game does not let you forget it. The game can hardly get through a scene she's in without describing her fetching, lighting, dragging, and/or exhaling. While most of this description is merely functional (though detailed), it does have some dialogue that suggests someone involved in making the game understands the appeal of a woman smoking. All that said, there isn't much variety in the visuals, and she only smokes in one lewd scene (a femdom footjob). Also, the game takes forever to get to any lewd content, and even longer to get to hers. It's also very Japanese. So bear that in mind if you choose to give it a go, and set your expectations accordingly.
From a game that exceeded my expectations to EmyLiveShow, which most certainly did not. To be fair, the promotion proper for the game did not feature any smoking, but the content warning screen at the beginning of the game's trailer did list smoking, so I figured there must be something. Well, there's no smoking visuals (unless you count Nia having an open pack of cigarettes on the table in her apartment.) There are descriptions of a few background characters smoking, but only one of those characters is female. The game does describe her smoking in a bit more detail than necessary, but there's nothing worth playing the game for.
Shale Hill Secrets (through episode 11, I just noticed episode twelve dropped today) technically belongs in this thread, but only technically. There's just a couple of flashback renders that feature Haley smoking in high school. It's a shame too, the renders are well above average in the realism of the posing, I'd like to see more, lewd or not.
Strangers on Paper has 2 scenes with Becca smoking cigarettes and one with her smoking a joint. The smoking scenes are for the purpose of characterization, not eroticism, but they are there.
Finally, Midnight Paradise has new smoking content, that I think was added in the latest update. MC's mom smokes by the pool in the evenings, and you can interact with her there. I'll note that the content is purely visual; other than one brief remark by the MC, the smoking is entirely uncommented upon. So there's no indication at this point that the smoking is going to go anywhere interesting.

Thank you for the kind words. I realize I'm just making posts here, but I really do want those posts to improve the thread, and not come off as selfish blog posting. Likes and comments give me confidence I'm doing the former and not the latter.

Is there a discord for this thread? There should be haha.
Not to my knowledge, though that does remind me of something relevant to the earlier discussion about the popularity of smoking content. I joined both the Acquainted and Timestamps discords, figuring they would attract at least some smoking fetish chatter. But nope. Other than the occasional comment about being glad the content is optional, there's nothing. It's disheartening and frankly kind of bizarre in my opinion, but here we are.

You are right about the timestamps discord. I'm not even a smoker myself but I love when girls do it in games or a little bit irl at the right times. But yeh the fetish sits in a wierd spot where to have it, u might not even smoke urself and also recognize the irl issues with it.
Best case scenario was my ex gf who only did it when she drank or during sex. That is rare tho!!
Friends in Need doesn't have any actual smoking, but one LI does pretend to smoke a cigarette while playing a role in a photoshoot. I'd say that still has implications because that cigarette had to either come from her or the MC, but I've probably thought about it harder than the dev did.
Hard Days is on its first release, but it shows great promise. Loren, the female MC, is locked down in her apartment building due to a pandemic. She smokes on her balcony twice during the demo, while sharing with her new neighbor. She comments that she's out of smokes after the second session. Since she can't go get more due the lock down, I'm hoping her getting access to more cigarettes is at least a minor plot thread in the future.
Learn the Heart is a relatively simple but competently made dating sim. It has a "premium cigarettes" item that you can gift to the girls, and each has a unique response. Only two of the girls actually want them for themselves, and three of them will be so disgusted you lose affection, but it's still a little bit of interaction. There's only one smoking visual, and it's not erotic, but it's nice for what it is.

Yeah, they're hardly the greatest finds. Learn the Heart in particular probably requires either being so old that its graphical style is nostalgic, or so young you can fap to anything. Still, my general rule is to post everything I find and let the reader decide what interests them or not.
Just one game today, MILFS of Sunville. On the positive side, it has a fair amount of content, with lightups/drags/exhales all on display. I also never found myself wondering why the hell the dev forgot that a character smoked. There was one character I wish had one more scene, Emma. Emma is the new kid in a group of punks whom MC encounters at his bike-rental job. She has one scene where she struggles to smoke a cigarette, as she's just starting to smoke to fit in with her new friends. A scene where MC (who smokes occasionally) had a smoke with her and they at least touched on what she thinks of it would have been great. Still, this is just something I want, not something I felt like the game was in anyway leading up to.
On the depends-on-the-player side, all the smokers are alt/punk/goth/whatever you want to call it. I'm fine with this, but if you dislike that style, then this game's smoking probably isn't for you.
On the negative side, *sigh*. The main problem is that the two most significant smokers, prostitute Becky and girl-next-door gone goth Chloe, are frankly ugly imho. Becky looks like the dev ran out of female DAZ models and tried to finesse a male face to look feminine and failed. Meanwhile, Chloe has all of her facial features smooshed as closely together as possible for some reason. Another problem with Chloe is that it felt to me that the game was setting her up to be an LI, and then just didn't use her at all. She "breaks bad" before the game, and I would have loved to hear the story of her transformation into a gothy smoker.
Chloe's lack of LI-ness brings up another point : None of the main LIs smoke, it's all side characters. This is hardly deal-breaking, but it still bears mentioning. Though one of the LIs (Emily) does bring up that she smoked at one time in her past to fit in with her peers. I'd be more annoyed we don't see her smoke, but she discusses it in the context of choices she's coming to regret as she gets older, and I really don't think it fits her character particularly well anyway.
In summary, MILFS of Sunville is an okay smoking game that could have been top-tier with a few simple changes:
1: Make Becky attractive. Her content is very good outside of that basic issue.
2: Make Chloe attractive, and give her a route, even if only as a side girl. Also have her give at least a synopsis of her style/personality change.
3: A scene where new smoker Emma gives her thoughts on her new habit would be absolutely amazing. I'm particularly thinking a post-coital smoke after her and MC fuck in the bathroom at school, but anywhere/when would be fine.
Holy shit, this is a dry spell. Every game I'm keeping an eye out for is either lacking content, not releasing, or not getting leaked. Anyway, two games today.
Failing to Fathom didn't leave much of an impression on me, but it does have have one scene.
With that out of the way, on to the meat of today's post: Fetish Locator. Well, smoking isn't one of the fetishes you can locate using the titular app, but there's still an impressive cigar scene in one of the endings. But I'm going to briefly discuss the meh and the bad, before I get to the good.
The meh is literally the entire game before the endings. A couple of LIs (Lydia and Dahlia) mention needing a smoke at one point each, but Lydia could well have been speaking facetiously. MC is also invited by a side character at a party to come smoke on the balcony, but nothing ever comes of that. Minor let-downs, in addition to the general let-down of smoking not being locatable, but nothing worth getting in a twist over.
As a final note, even though Fetish Locator is technically "completed", the dev is still adding endings. Hopefully more of them have content on the same level as Lydia's.

Baddies Inc. is the new game from the developer of College Bound, and so far, it is much less frustrating. The MC has to stay in a no-tell motel and has the opportunity to have sex with a prostitute, Ginger. She's smoking when he meets her, she smokes again after they're done, and is seen smoking again as MC is leaving the next day. The visuals aren't spectacular (notably, there is no effort at smoke effects), but they're reasonably numerous and there is an effort at pose variety. I'm not sure if Ginger is intended to be a one and done encounter or a recurring character, and College Bound leaves me leery of hoping for too much in the future, but Baddies Inc. is starting strong.
Pecker PI has very little female smoking right now, but it isn't shy about showing the MC smoking, and is generally going for a mid-twentieth century hard-boiled detective atmosphere, so I'm hopeful future installments will be more content rich.
The Entrepreneur is a name that is annoying to type, and a game with a side character that smokes a couple of times. Assuming the gallery I was looking at is complete, it doesn't look worth it just for the smoking.
A couple of quick update notes: Our Bright Days didn't have any new smoking content in the latest update. Name88's Triangle continues to have smoking content almost every update.
Well, the site is getting a smoking tag...soon.
So we'll see how that works out.
As for games that may or may not need that tag, The Last Oasis Before Chastity is the most interesting one for this post. There's just one half-scene with a prostitute named Aria in the first release as far as actual content goes. However, MC does have a pack of smokes and a zippo in his bug-out bag. Most intriguingly, you meet a couple of women named Thelma and Louise (there are many pop culture references in this game.) Louise at one point tells MC that she and Thelma are going to the gas station to get cigarettes, but nothing thread relevant comes of that. However, Thelma's character profile actually has a section labeled "Cigarettes Smoked", which definitely piques my interest.
