Present day was supposed to be back in this update (I belive) but Nam couldn;t get it in (without delaying further). We should be back to present time again next update.

Only really an issue due to the episode nature of VN's....if played in one go then it would appear far less confusing and/or frustrating. I personally don't mind but for those who dislike the way it's been done, replaying from scratch next update would probably make it far more enjoyable and make a lot more sense.

I'm close to 2 hours in, a question does the english improve ? or the story telling element ?

i dont wanna invest more time on a game where the dialogue sucks, cuz thats the easiest part to fix unfortunately most dont bother.

I didnt wanna read the reviews as sometimes it contains spoilers, however after doing it, its not me whose too dumb EVERYONE's confused.

While not great 'English' it's far from bad...and nowhere near the worst around. As for stoy telling, well, that's on you just not liking the style. It's done on purpose. The problem is that it's quite disjointed currently and in my own honest opinion, I would wait for the next update...which should, all things being well, get us back into the 'present' time.

A lot of people have complained about the disconnect, I truly believe that when played from the beginning (when the next update hits) it will not have that same effect as it will be a much longer continuous story and the disconnect of the 'past' just won't be there when viewed as one large update, rather than the very disjointed nature of episodic updates with VN's.

It has been too long (From a real world time frame scale) since we were in the present and while I have no issue with it myself, I can understand why a lot of people are bothered by it.

Awesome update as usual. Literally everything...cannot wait for the next uypdate, exspecially if we get back to the present that you didn't manage to include. We really need to know what happens to Celeste heh. Love you man!

Did spot a few things though:

Line 2053 in Princess.rpy (N"And what about you?") Should be M not N talking.

Also..some postwork required on a few images, the dreaded Daz hairline issues hehe, renders are:
Fanta219.webp (neck and upper cheek on Celeste)
Nash999, 1000 & 1001 all have the forehead Daz hair cap issue. Can fix for you if you wish and send them direct or upload here but thought would let you know in case you rather deal with them yourself.

You might be right about the story telling being not my style, however there are mistakes like 'it's' being 'ifs' and the constant name calling. Let's give the dev the benefit of the doubt and say all of them are/were an honest mistake nevertheless I still think it's incredibly irritating to be confused for YEARS and YEARS while the justification is oh it will explain itself in the next update.

Anyway ignore what I say because I'm just a talentless consumer. You do you and best of luck.

Only justification from myself to people like you who bring it up to try and explain and help you understand that it may be better to wait.

However, if it truly is a problem, I would perhaps suggest sticking to only completed VN's...as it's an incredibly common issue amongst the overwhelming majority of VN's. They nearly all take years....this is no exception.

Hey man, I won't lie I didn't play since 0.4.5 and I don't remember most of what happened pls tell me you have a recap feature plssssss. I hope you take no offense but from what I remember even though your game base potential was great. The game fel frkin long even though I have played longer games. The writing was confusing as hell (not bad though it'ss well written but at the same time it's not) too and quite difficult to follow everything. However I still think your story is quite atypic for a female protag game.
If I could explain it I'd say your game's good but it isn't one I can play for hours without noticing it. I notice the passing hours and it only makes me more impatient for smt to happen not necessarrily seggs happening lol, just for smt to happen, Idk what myself (the way you used flashbacks carry a lot of the blame).
The fact that the MC I'm basically supposed to play and embody has secrets from the player also breaks the little immersion I had whenever we got back to the present MC. Plus by the time we're back at present MC I'm still trying to figure out and understand what that flashback meant and where in the timeline I'm supposed to put it.
I honestly think the game would have been better if we could follow the MC ever since she was a child. The thing you do with flashbacks mainly work when they aren't that long and/or if the MC himself has amnesia and "we're" remembering thing at the same time as him (a bit like the MC of SH (Super....) when we discover how/why he has a scar). The whole mystery you set around it only makes the frustrations grows stronger as you try to make it climax.


I hope you won't take offense at my words I only wish for your game to be better than it alrdy is. Plus it's mainly subjective maybe ppl won't agree with me but that's how I personally feel abt the whole thing. It's just rly frustrating such potential being wasted away.
And pls don't forget a recap feature lol, until next update.

If it's this one, I'm sry to say but I don't get it... The things I pointed out don't have much to do with the fact that it isn't completed. I could play the game while completed and find it frustrating due to the way you tel the story. With all due respect mate, like I said I rly like it but I don't think the direction you took was the best one for the game.

Alas, mate if you don't want to hear that I can stop writing my thoughts on it but from your comment Ig that you get it a lot.
However, if you truly think that it's bc your game ain't complete. I can tell you that you're as wrong as one can be. Even if the game was complete I'd find it as frustrating as I currently do. Unles ofc, you have plans abt changing how you prvsly told the story when it's completed but I doubt it. WHo knows though
