Haha, dont come with that. I dont know! I have been places that were full piracy sites, they wont talk about it.. or post cracks (direct link of cracks) (the game or whatever could have it inside with it, without any problem). So now... I mistrust haha
GTA servers have been cracked... you can play online gta v piratly.. (a game that always requieres internet connection for online playing), WoW has been cracked.. for online play (we always talk of private servers), lineage, and a lot more... I assume this would be similar... (the only difference its the games I named are like worldwide knowlege, this type of game its more like "private" or unique pleople, maybe its more difficult to find someone who could do the private server system etc, or just crack it... but the system its almost the same.. needs to connect to the internet to do the work.. blabla..

you have to see the mega file as a launcher that downloads the files and updates from their server once you launch the .exe
So the mega link will normally always be in 0.1
I totally agree with you, there are lots of AAA games with a connection to the server that was crack, I only say that unless there is someone who has done this before, for us it will not be easy to "crack"

Well, you share to me a wiki link of crack when I work actually in/with this stuffs... I know exactly how crack works...
You dont need to emulate an entire server to fool the game...
If the game is easy cracking you can just block connection to the internet, "erase" connection requiered etc and thats it, not even need of a fake server. If the cracking its a little more difficult there, maybe an option would be simulate connecting to the "server" and thats all... Even if it has an encripted code detector. Usually you emulate an entire server when the game depens entirely of the server. (This game wont) (example of depending server game: need to create a new unique item for that person in a specific map, with specific stats, the maps should run in the server only and usually 3d maps, etc) this game has photograps.. Super easy, even if we talk of a mini cinematic, easy.
So actually it isnt "difficult" if we talk about the cracking stuff. But well, it was need to be clear..
But like I said, mostly depends on the fame of the game.. Hope someone would be interested in it

I think we finally worked out the kinks and streamlined the process of adding new events and dialogs into the game. Soon we'll start adding new content, like watching TV with Julia. Of course, we still have plenty of game mechanics to implement, but this one is done. Also, new events and dialogs will help us with testing new game mechanics on the fly.
Our designer has finished his magic with images for NPCs and is currently cutting them into individual sprites, and programmer is adding them into the game. We're testing profiles for NPCs (they don't have detailed description for stats and relationships with main character yet). As soon as we polish them, you'll see it in the game. Also, soon the backyard in Kate's house will look different depending on the time of day.

Any-thing that cannot grant you full access being a guest or a free user can be "cracked", thats the term for it(if you want to free break-in/use-it no matter what). DRM its the new name for protected software against piracy...thats all. Dont come to me about term using or generic information from wikipedia, Im a programmer, I work with programs, from all the colors, I know exactly how it is.

i don't see any point making demagogy with guy who don't know defenition of the term "software Crack" nor can comprehend difference between removed/disabled DRM from the executable/dll library and emulating server.
