My Rating of this Game (V0.17) is:

    Pros:
    -Renders Great

    Cons:
    -Wants to Download
    - Scenes keep repeating
    - Gets Boring fast
    - Big Grinding

    Conclusion:
My Good, what a damn grinding damn Gameplay, F95 should start a ranking page for the Top 10 Good & Bad Games, this Game would make the Top 10 in the Bad Game department.
Don`t get me wrong, the Renders are great, the Story probably good.(Didn't play it completely, got bored to death), and you can see the folks put a lot of work into the Game, but making the Gameplay less grinding and simpler would have made the game great, also needing a online Connection is a no go for the regular version.

The content as it currently stands (0.18) is a little thin on the ground for both main characters but that just means there's a lot of time and space for the game get a lot deeper.
Granted, I mostly play as the Female MC (Kate) but that's just because I prefer to. Max's content is being brought over from one of Silver's earlier titles - albeit at a seemingly slow pace. This I believe to be a smart development move - the importing of earlier content, not the pace of it.
The game is a bit grindy for Kate as money is a priority for her and although you do eventually take a second job as her, the game hasn't been written to actually PAY you for that job. Yet.
In short, the game is good. It has flaws and content holes and most of the available content is based around the relationships between Kate, Julia and Nick to be sure butas I said, there's time, room and space for this to be so much more.
Bear in mind that if you're trying for one particular encounter, you're going to burn through a lot of repetition. And finger fluids; there's so much clicking to be done.

    TL;DR:
It's good. Has problems, but it's good.

Sigh...You know? I've been in the fanart section recently posting a few renders of females from BB and Glamour alike. And I said I had no intention of playing this game. Right after I said that I downloaded the game.

Right out the gate, I was hit with problems. Couldn't even adjust my seat first before I was hit with this sorry ass loading screen. Got passed it though after filtering the thread for help on that matter.

Moving on, I don't know if it's the offline version or what, but the lag when trying to hit a button makes me rage so badly. It's bad enough that this game is a click-fest where you're bound to have cramps in your index finger, but then it lags and sometimes the click doesn't register at all and it only gets worse when you're someone like me who hasn't played it from the start, so with ALL the content in the game, and by content I mean all the click you have to do talking to this person, that person and doing repeatable scenes 50 times before you unlock the next path, you can imagine how frustrating that got.

This game is a toxic ass grind-fest the likes of only 2K Games can match. And this is what pisses me off about Dark Silver. When I played Big Brother, the grind was unmatched. You couldn't hope to play that game without mods or cheats, and what's crazy is that there was little to no payoff for your efforts in that game. The sex scenes were stale. No erotic direction at all and very very rushed. You spent all that time getting to the sex, but the sex came and went.

In Glamour, the sex scenes that we have so far that pertain to Kate's involvement actually have some flavor to them. You read her thoughts, the angles are sexier, actual penetration is shown at times, hell, actual pussy is shown at times. Overall the sex scenes are a step up. But it's like DS always has to give up something to make another thing better. We got better sex scenes, but instead of making the grind bearable, it's even worse now in Glamour.

The story is stupid. Long story short, if this college were real, they'd be the epitome of a nationwide scandal. This is why I don't like sandbox games. A lot of times, the story is just non existent. It's just meant to be a series of events to build up stats, but there is hardly ever a GOAL in mind. I'm doing the things the game wants me to do, but I still ask myself "Why does this game exist?" You can't tell me it's to fap with. The grind is too mind-boggling for that. You can't tell me it's for the story, cause it's so unrealistic and stupid so the immersion was never there. Why does this game exist? You play it, but you don't feel the emotion. You don't feel the passion. You don't feel shit other than the possible rage of the grind.

Enough bashing though, for now. Let's talk about what I did like. First of all the renders. DS has gotten better most definitely. His art in BB was inconsistent but that has been fixed here. It's very consistent and it's A+ all the time. I also like the dialogue. I don't know if DS writes the dialogue or if he has someone who handles that for him, but I do like how the dialogue tends to flow naturally. That can be hard to do, but he pulls it off.

I also quite like the 2 focus characters, Kate and Julia. I already loved the female characters of BB and here it's quite more of the same. Everyone from BB returns just as they were in the original (some with slight appearance changes but their personalities are intact). But I love Kate and Julia. I love their interactions when they peek on one another. I mostly play the game JUST for them. I don't care about much else. There are way too many NPCs so scenes often feel so damn robotic and forced. The game picks up in personality any time a BB character comes into play, save for probably Ann. Anytime Lisa comes around, you feel the mood turn into something spontaneous. You feel her presence. You speak to Alice, you feel her distance, but you also feel her likeness towards you. Hell, even Max, whom I fuckin hate, when he appears, you feel his creep tendencies. That's just it. You feel SOMETHING from them. They have personality. The other characters all have witty, fun dialogue and stuff, but their scenes all feel robotic because there are just too much of them. No one gets any focus, save for Julia, who you obviously interact with the most.

All in all, this game is a grind-fest that has no focus whatsoever, just like I predicted. The sex is getting better, the renders are nice, Kate, Julia and the BB characters carry this story. But this game is just FAR too broad in scope. It's a game that wants to focus on everything but ends up building on nothing.

2/5 at most. I don't recommend it. Find a way to rip the CG and keep it moving.

The game is currently incomplete at version 0.16 and this rating takes that into account.
There are two things it has going for it art work and it can be improved.
What it has going against it plot and story issues beyond belief. If you like to grind this game is for you.

You have a bunch of students who are attending a college with experimental rules that aren't disclosed and the rules can change and they can supposedly issue fines and so physical punishments and other garbage.

There are only about 10 places in the world you might get away with that type of garbage they aren't places known for their protection of human rights. Even then outside influences deter a lot of stuff to the effect at least they pretend to care about rights.

There however is no place in western culture as this is portrayed to be that it would remotely even fly.

The college would be pointless for all these people to attend because it couldn't pass any of the accreditation by the various accreditation regions and groups for colleges.

All contracts that violate law are considered null and void from the start thus none of the students would owe them anything if they walked out of there and never returned.

Looking at how some of these kids are portrayed and teachers and others around it well there is no chance in hell at least a number of them don't know that. I might think a bit different if everyone who attended the school was portrayed as complete morons not just troubled individuals with different issues.

Back story on the MC her father is a professor of history and isn't an academic unknown. She was homes schooled. Most kids coming out of homeschooling are being taught better than kids coming out of public education these days. With that type of family there is basically no chance in hell she would fall for signing the contract.

For whatever reason the author as many other seem to have this weird view of people being home schooled as totally sheltered. Even with really strict parents most aren't. Homeschool parents network and often work together to create better lesson plans, travel more place s to show their kids how places work group event systems ... 40 years ago that might have been more accurate but it isn't a good representation of current homeschooling.

I could go on forever about the plot issues it has but anyone with a brain in their head and actually reads it rather than just clicking for images should see it as well.

The author also seems to have a habit of putting out partially implemented content rather than building the backend support side first. So you'll find stuff like being able to take a job and told you will get paid and never get paid by it. This method is bad because it means they need to remember to come back and finish the implementation. That might not happen because they focus more on adding new content .

So why do I bother playing it if I have that many issues with it? Hmmm. I did say it can be improved. Can the big plot issues with this be fixed? No.

I've haven't even gone through all the content currently out. But early on it is easy to see the people running the school have a nefarious intent for the students. Then the missing sister just is proof positive that's coming.

Now if the author made this school known for having students with above average sexual behavioral issues. That the school specialized with helping those individuals learn to control their behavior and use it to their advantage in society ... then there would be no need to hide the change in rules. Rules could be made up for each student individually to tailor to their needs. She could be let in as a repressed sexual issue though it was more about not being able to afford a school...

By doing something that simple you could avoid most the legality conflicts and so on. The plot path can still be fit in.

To be clear there are boarding schools in real life that are for people with sexual issues or behavioral patterns.

    Update: 9/6/2019:
Kind of irritated I can't give ZERO stars to this and other some other games. I a good bit farther than I was and just seen what's coming up from another person's post. Frankly, it's bad enough I've pretty much lost all hope at all of this game improving it would take a massive rewrite. Author would need to start giving a shit about the characters acting like they have the attributes they are presented with. The MC comes from an academic family is presented as fairly smart but broke but some how she is a complete idiot through out the game and most the options real people would take you are never presented with. So it's becomes less and less of a game where you have any real choices just a story of the authors design you are forced to grind on to watch and have no real value or impact on.

    Choice!
    1. Sorry, I'm not signing shit without it being spelled out in contract.
    2. F boy in the hotel ... You can keep the apartment.
    3. By the way Nicolas I recorded everything all those times on by phone or other devices that exist and are dirt cheap.

At times I have to deal with some seriously stupid teenagers and I would be hard pressed to find even handful out of thousands this dumb. It reminds me of the guy who was so retard he was forbidden by court to have sex. That's the level of stupidity being exhibited by the MC .

I am seriously starting to think most the authors of this crap hate women and see them as idiots. You know maybe its time someone rights a book showing all the stupidity and gullibility of men. God knows I seen enough men being shit wipes having been in the military and worked for DOD and the tech industry. Hell I seen an idiot use his government credit card to by a whore so she would marry him and he was surprise when he returned to the states with her she divorced his stupid ass. Frankly, that's nothing compared to other idiots.

The game overall have a good render. Good looking character. But it's too grindy. The development also slow considering the how long this game has been. The story is in either good or bad. If you guys don't mind playing the same scene and don't mind waiting for the long update this game is for you also support his patreon if you like lol

    Edit v0.16 offline
New character or just reviving the character from BB this game would be long way to finish. Grind fiesta only good render without animation

The renders are outstanding. = 1 star

This game is boring and wasting time.
I've been playing for six hours and did nothing.
I need to replay the scene over and over again so I can get some real thing.

    This game is a joke.

So I finally gave the game a try after more than one year of development and it was actually worse than I imagined and I had very little expectations to beginn with.
The grinding is from hell. Not only do you have to repeat dozens of events multiple times with little to none variation to advance the plot, the dev also implemented a "chance" mechanic, meaning there is a good chance an event won't trigger even when you do everything you are supposed to do.
While this can be a fun mechanic to reward the thorough player with little bonus scenes, the game uses it so often and with critical quests that it is just a torment to play.
The second big disappointment is the lack of content. You would think a dev like Dark Silver with a team and money would be able to deliver a satisfactory experience after such a long time, but when you look at the actual content and not the time you need to unlock it, there is just not enough content to justify such a long development time and I played the female MC, who apparently has much more and fleshed out content. Even after such a long development time, basic open world mechanics barely exist or have no actual effect other than just being there.

Considering he is basically restarting BB in Glamour now, so the development will be even slower than before, I have zero hope that this game will turn into something decent in the next couple of months. Maybe, but just maybe in one or two years this can become a playable game, when the content is more spread out so the game will be less repetitive.

Edit: Now, nearly four years later I can say the game got even worse.

This game is extremely slow and boring. I've been playing for two hours and I feel like nothing has happened yet. And some of the questions at school are shit too because the answers are wrong. I don't understand why developers hide all there good content behind so much shit grind!!!!

this game is just too much grinding. it could been fun (the same way Big Brother was) ONLY if it's possible to cheat. too bad, because the graphics are nice, but the game isn't worth the hassle. i hope one day someone will be motivated enough to add an mod for it. Until than , i will just pass

I was a big fan of BB and was a bit skeptical at first. I have to say, the game is every bit as good as BB. I didn't think I'd like playing a female MC but they've done a great job. The only con is that it is a little grind heavy but the upside is that there are several variations to repeatable events. And...it looks like DS is rebooting BB within the game.

There's supposed to be so many great renders in this game considering this is the same guy that did big brother, but by god there's such an amazing amount of dialogue which is shown in a horrible long text blurb that you're basically already bored by the time you get in control.
Somehow these devs seem to forget that it's a porn game told through visuals not a porn book.

    Glamour Version 0.13

After Big Brother got abandoned by the Dev i was a little disheartened as in my opinion DarkSilver had some and still does have some of the best renders in his games, When i heard he was starting a new project i rejoiced as i wanted to see the same level of quality in an even better game... This is NOT it.

    Pro's

    - The renders really are outstanding, the scenes are beautifully as well as the characters, apart from Developers such as DrPinkCake, DS has some of the best renders in the business.

    - Character development and personalities are also very good, you can quickly get a pretty good understand of the characters.

    - The story isnt bad, its engaging at times and usually serves Plot or character development.

    Con's

    - The development time is pain painstakingly slow with each update not really adding much apart from some boring "Filler Scenes" that serve no purpose.

    - The game is beyond grindy, it seems any scenes worthwhile viewing are locked behind a massive event chain as well as CHANCE encounters.

    - The actions in the game take a LONG time before you get any kind of pay off, im not saying you need a character to drop their pants after getting them a glass of water but you need some sort of gratification.

    - One of the glaring issues of this game is that the Dev is technically making 2 separate games at once, A Male path as well as a Female path. this just slows down development on a project that is already slow.

    - At times it seems you are stuck in endless lines of boring dialogue that dont further the plot at all.

    Summery

Version 0.13 was "The biggest Update Yet" and it did add a reasonable amount of content to the game, however it still has a very long way to go before id consider this game "Playable." This game may and most likely will be pretty good if it ever gets finished however its a long ways off and has already been in development for a long time.

Id personally hold of on becoming invested in this game its one to Watch however its going to be a long road in my opinion.

:( it's a boring game, it takes far to long till you get some action, I read everything a few times, but sorry don't get the story so far, I'm sure I missed something and why mixing with big Brother ?
It's sure nice to see the BB girls again, but again what's the story behind it

    this game is realy beautiful

the characters are very nice, the girls are very beautiful "guys too" and even if for the moment the content is light, the story is so interesting, "attractive" that it really makes you want to follow its evolution

the choice between male or female character is really very interesting and original enough to be reported, it brings a real plus to this game, female or male protagonist made very often debate and with glamour everyone can find his happiness

I think it's one of the most promising recent games of the moment.

congrats and all the best for the future

I really like this game. I spent hours going through the quests and grind out what needed to be done. Even though it got a bit grindy at times, i still liked it. And i was really looking forward to the next releases.
And then it all went to shit for me. When they introdused BigBrother into the game i got a bit worried. At first it was ok as a way of getting more money rather than farmin the hotell job. Then they went overboard and Max turned into a playable char. And in the latest release, that is the biggest they ever did, there is nothing but BigBrother content... For this reason alone i stopped playing the game. Sorry to say that they ruined a good game by trying to resurect a dead game like several other devs.

Full disclosure: I've been a DS patron for two months now and I've been a long time fan of Big Brother. I tested Max's route in 0.12, but deliberately waited until 0.13 before trying Kate's story for the first time.

    ----------------------------------------

First off, the renders in this game are exquisite. Those familiar with games built on DAZ assets, will recognize a lot of props and rooms, but there's a quality to the postprocessing and color saturation that really makes this title stand out from the crowd.

The models used are absolutely gorgeous, and DS does an excellent job of posing them in the different scenes. Facial features are quite varied but universally beautiful. Body proportions are fairly believable (e.g. no ridiculously large breasts) but there's a preponderance of supermodel / porn star body types. This anomaly has an explanation in the main story, though.

As for the story, I find it interesting and fairly novel. I won't go into detail, but the female MC (Kate) has had a sheltered upbringing, laying the foundation for a corruption theme. There are quite a few quests/storylines available as Kate, although none of them are concluded as of yet. I must admit I was surprised to find that playing as a female MC feels like a refreshing change. YMMV. If projecting yourself onto the MC is important to you, you may want to wait for Max's story to be started. Personally, I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that DS is basically going to reimplement a lot of the Big Brother storyline in Glamour. I am looking forward to playing that once it gets released.

Currently, the writing is pretty good. There are a few typos here and there, but errors in translation (DS's mother tongue is Russian, I believe) are fortunately quite rare. Not all of the dialogue is believable, but it is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the different storylines.

The biggest gripe most will have with this game, is probably its pacing. This is not a game for instant gratification. There's quite a bit of text to read through and sexually explicit scenes are not something that happen early. Many of the sex-scenes require several play-throughs, before you reach the climax. This does go hand in hand with the slow corruption theme, but may feel forced at times. It is particularly frustrating when a given scene triggers very rarely. Whether one considers this a grind and thus something negative however, is a matter of perspective.

    In summary:

At version 0.13, there is a lot left to do before this game could be considered finished in any real sense of the word. However, there is quite a bit of content here already, and the framework has been lain for a lot of exciting material to come in the next releases. I also cannot stress enough that the quality of the content thus far, is immaculate.

I know DS has some haters after abandoning BB, but if you manage to judge Glamour on its own merits, you'll find a lot to like here.

According to Greek mythology, Narcissus was famous for its beauty and arrogance. Looking at her reflection in the pond of the nymph Eco, he was enchanted by her own beauty and lay down on the bank of the river and languished, staring into the water and beautifying herself to death.
I remember the days when people waited hours and hours for the pirated version of BB, it was the only game in the history of this forum to have a protection against sharing. As if the unexpected cancellation of the project was not enough, after milking his Patreons for more than a year, DarkSilver resolves to unearth an abandoned project that has only Glamour in its name. And unhappy with his failure, he still forces the player to collaborate monthly to enjoy all the options in online mode, using BB's "golden goose" characters in a terrifying and depressing game.
It's sad to see that many people have not woken up and still support the narcissism and arrogance of this developer.

If I could I would give it 0/5.

A game with hardly any content due to the stupid idea of creating two games in one (boy and girl).
This translates into double the development time to increase the creator's bank account every month for a game in which you visit a house without doing anything.

Visual side of the game is superb - quality, models, details etc. Story is ok however not brilliant. The only issue I have with Glamour is that it involves lots of grinding. Too much clicking, waiting and clicking some more to push events just a tiny bit. I don't think I'm unpatient but this one really put me to the test...

I have to say that I was a great fan of BB. Even though I can understand some of the critisism. The major flaw was the lack of an overview, of all all possiblle ways.
This Game on the other hand, doese it much better!
The new main charakter is verry nice (even though i would also see the male path going to start ;P) and all the NPC´s look great and are interesting (as far they are developed by now).
Most of all I loved all the conections to the BB-charakters! But new ones are almost as good and i love to see more of them!

The onely thing i dislike verry much, is the ne "talking-mechanic"! Sometimes i can just work my way around all possible topics to talk with an NPC and then there are so many times, the conversation ended after a topic and I had to talk to the NPC again, why!?
Can´t just I chose the end of the conversation? That would be less frustrating...

But all in all, I love the writing and the graphics. I´m eager to see what´s comming up next! ^^
