Maybe Im playing this thing bad... somehow.... cause I have found no battle and I bought all upgrades and havent use them at all... I spend a lot of time getting them for what?
Not that I enjoy a lot combat in porn games but I got everything to feel powerfull in combat but tere were non to be found exept for the one at the end but still I defeted the guy narrowly but then the pink girl took all the credit as did nothing at all....

The explore command from the map screen can lead to combat encounters. Adult game enjoyers aren't typically fond of combat in adult games so I didn't invest much time into making it very complex. The upgrades were added to make it even easier.

Perhaps it would have been better to have no combat at all, but hindsight I suppose. At least I learned how to make a combat system in a VN engine for the sake of future projects.

This is a very neat little cyberpunk game, and honestly the only non-nitpick issue I have with it is that I want there to be more of it and there isn't. I'd love expansions or a sequel that would let us spend more time with at least the central protagonist if not the rest of the cast as well and to see more of the setting.

Especially intriguing to me is the divided society with separatist enclaves for unmodified humans, cyborgs, and androids (with a rumored virtual realm for disembodied digital consciousness), which makes a lot of sense and is a rather unusual twist. I would enjoy a deeper look at this setting, including more mixed areas and a deeper feel for how the demographics play out --how many hardcore separatists there are vs tolerant but still prefer to keep to themselves types vs those who are fully open-minded and even those who have a preference for a certain type that isn't their own. There's a lot of fertile ground for characters and stories in the concept and I would love to see more of it.

As to the combat, I think it's kind of a must-have in a cyberpunk setting as they are never all that safe (with some areas more dangerous than others, of course) and conflict is frequent. It's just not cyberpunk if there aren't assorted wastoids trying to ice you now and then, for various reasons or none at all. That's just how the dark future rolls.

My one nitpick is one I can overlook, but I would prefer to not have to --I absolutely hate ballsacks on futa characters. To me, the proper anatomical configuration is one where their penis is located where the clitoris would ordinarily be at the top of the opening of the labia, with a functioning vagina below it, making them fully intersexed. Others, of course, demand what some might term "shemales" or "ladyboys" which is normal male genetalia including a scrotum and testicles on an otherwise feminine body. These two camps are pretty much vehemently opposed, and unless you give an option for both (with the extra work that entails as a developer) then whichever one you go with is going to rub the other side the wrong way.

Myself, though I really really dislike the "with balls" variety, I do understand that a developer only has so much time and effort to expend on a project and they're already doing extra work to provide a futa option in the first place. Thus, I can get over it if that's what it takes to enjoy what is otherwise a good game aside from that one small detail.

Although I don't mind being more technical, sometimes it is better to "dumb it down". The casual sci-fi enjoyer usually has a decent understanding of the terms android and cyborg, even if they don't know the difference. Just something you have to keep in mind when writing for a varied audience. (Not to mention the lack of blood flow to the brain during other parts of the game.)

Even though I'm current wrapping everything up for a while, I still have more content planned for the future. Whether that ends up being something along the lines of DLC or a full on sequel is still up in the air. Some of what I have written down involves Echo's past, her parents, and the connection to Nakada and the MC. This would all be tied to that mysterious "Cyberspace" that is occasionally mentioned.

As I've noted, I feel like most people prefer no combat in adult games. I think something more along the lines of, "You entered a combat scenario." "Is your Strength stat > 10?" No. "Do you have this item?" No. "What about this one?" Yes. "Great, you win! Now back to the porn!" ..Would work better. Not going to change it now, though. Something for future projects.

If it didn't take so damn long to render everything, you can be sure I would have a LOT more customization options. It can be frustrating to design a somewhat dystopian futuristic/cyberpunk setting but have to neglect the one thing everyone expects to see, body modification. There's also the limitation of Daz model options. I don't recall if if have seen genitals available exactly as you prefer, but I do have something similar in my old files for another game. I'll keep it in mind for future ordeals either way.

After 2 years of development, I fear that I may be reaching the point where burnout could kick in. Thus is why I've begun wrapping things up. Comments like yours give me a lot of motivation. Thanks! :)

That is absolutely the right thing to do. You've got a great foundation here for more storytelling but you want to also present a coherent narrative with a beginning, middle, and satisfying ending as you have here. Then let it and yourself rest, let the ideas percolate in the back of your mind and when you have something that grabs you and the energy to devote to it, you work on a sequel or side story. I was not at all criticizing, I meant "I want more of this!" as praise and support. One of the keys to a successful piece of storytelling or entertainment is "always leave 'em wanting more", and it's also a measure of success that people do want more no matter where you end it because if it wasn't good and compelling they wouldn't care.

Well you have presented a work worth getting invested in for the audience, and a solid foundation to build on if and when you want to. The sky's the limit from here.

You're also right as to the level of detail you've put into the setting at this stage, you don't want to overwhelm the audience with information right off the bat. Even if it's a setting you've had in mind for decades and have tens or hundreds of thousands of words and sketches and such in background worldbuilding saved up, you start with a surface level view paired with a good story to hook the audience and intrigue them to want to know more. Then, over time, you can delve deeper and the fans you've earned will go with you because they're already attached to the work and invested in what you have to show them.

I suppose that's a lot of words to say "you've done / are doing a great job, and when you're ready to do more then keep up the good work!". I'll be very interested in whatever project you do next and will be recommending this game to my friends who are fans of the cyberpunk genre.

Finally, as a postscript, I emphathize with the challenge of providing customization and story branches and such as they're desirable but are so time and labor intensive as to be by and large out of reach for a small team let alone a solo developer. All anyone can do is hope that tools get better, especially with modern generative AI, to knock those mountains down to a more climbable size in the hopefully near future.

Thank you again!

GnB in particular was in very early writing stages when I ended up deciding to start on it. Some real life issues caused me to swap from my previous title to GnB. It was actually meant to be filler until I could return to the other, but it became a main project. The first few months of writing was done under a lot of stress. I ended up revising it several times. When I have the right mindset and motivation, I believe I can create much, much better stories. Then I go back and cut them down because I know most people don't want to read that much in an adult game.

Hopefully future projects can be met with with more ideal conditions. Speaking of which, I'm returning to the previous project I left incomplete, Serenity Circle, as my next endeavor. It is a fantasy setting, not cyberpunk this time. That story has had a lot more time to brew, so to speak. Currently refreshing myself on that story and rewriting some of it. (Wrote 300 or so lines of new dialog earlier today, in fact. o_O) After SC, I'll most likely be back to GnB. I do have some ideas that may speed up development, at least in the render time department.

I appreciate all of the tips, too! It's one thing to think you know what you are doing and continue to do it that way. It's another thing to accept that you are wrong and follow the guidance of others or at least learn from your own mistakes. I aim to be like the latter. For example, I don't really mind a little grind if it is done well. But the amount of times I've read, "This game is too grindy!" I've learned that most people don't want the grind, so I avoid developing like that now. I'm always learning, and I gladly welcome any wise words that anyone wishes to share. (Or even the occasional, "This game sucks!" 'cause it still brings more clicks. ;))

Will you keep RPGM for Serenity Circle? To avoid grinding it's perhaps not the best choice. :ROFLMAO:

I haven't made any sort of "official" post detailing all of the changes that are coming for SC yet, but I plan to soonish (tm). Let's just say that the original resolution size and the animations in SC don't quite meet the threshold for quality I've set for myself now-a-days. I've vented my frustrations with RPGM a few times. Only said good things about Ren'Py. Considering all of that, well.. :sneaky:

I guess you should choose Explore on the map screen to discover other locations and make the story progress. In the town center you can find some jobs to earn a little money, and as long you don't have enough money to rent a room you can rest in the alley.

I have all endings 2-6, but do not know or cannot find how to achieve ending 1 (the bounty hunters). I've explored, fought and beaten at least 20 people and have no clue on how to trigger this ending. Any help?

You have to lose the fight to either a bounty hunter or Nakada guard.

There's also a guaranteed method to shift from ending 6 over to ending 1:

I'm not sure I understood how to start the Cyberspace quest line. It should be before we start any aftermath with any LI?
