Is there a way to manually unlock some clues in the console? I unlocked Sheila/Aurora clues during dialogue in chapter three, but due to a save error (Exception: To be persisted, <Character: '[mcname]'> must support equality comparison.) I probably undid it when I manually deleted saves. And I don't have a save from before those dialogues now...

So in chapter 5 there is a clue for "The girl's next lie" that basically I missed because the screen changes to the next one not giving time to check where to click. Just me or did this happen to others. Update I got it by rolling back a few times and just clicking an area on screen till I got screenshot0002.png

would be better if MC dick was a bit biuggewr...it seems unlike that he can get many girls with how pretty dumb he is and have a normal dick too

First off, thank you
You’ve been here since the start, and it truly matters. I was quiet these past two months — I’m getting back to a “normal” cadence for progress reports starting now.

Behind the scenes of the last two months
  • Vacation (finally!) Nearly three weeks off! My first real break in 3 years of dev. Côte d’Azur, beach 200 m away, sun, wind, and a short stay at a holiday village to really switch off. It did me a world of good… and helped me reconnect with my family (10–12 hours a day, 7/7, takes a toll).
  • Back to work: I’m easing back into renders for GS. Meanwhile, the adult-game landscape shifted, and not always in our favor.
Platforms: what changed
Recently, some platforms and payment processors tightened policies around adult games. Quick rundown:
  • delisted paid adult games (GS wasn’t there anymore anyway).
  • Steam removed titles with certain taboo content (GS is not affected).
  • Most impactful: Steam now refuses Early Access for adult games and only reviews content at release.
For GS, that’s a real blow: EA was how I gathered your feedback and funded development along the way.
Finances (straight talk)
I’ve been full-time on GS for almost a year. My last appointment with unemployment services went poorly: I may lose the allowance that’s been covering my living expenses during development. So yes, the next few months really matter.

The plan (and how you can help)
  1. Steam Daily Deal in ~1 month
GS will be featured for 24 hours. These promos can be huge… if we show up with recent, positive reviews.
--> If you enjoy the game, please leave a positive Steam review and spread the word: last-30-days reviews carry extra weight.
  2. Final release of GS (~9 months, to be confirmed)
The stronger the launch, the more I can build a cushion to fund what’s next.
  3. Patreon
I’m shifting its role: it will host Early Access for the next game and, if needed, serve as a financial lifeline during the transition.
I’m realistic: there are Plan B’s (traditional job, a loan). But the goal is clear — make a living from GS and deliver the best game I can.
Current chapter progress
  • Writing: done. I’m doing a polish pass to tighten pacing.
  • Posing / renders: first two scenes finished, half of the first spicy scene completed, and I’m moving on to a longer scene. Yes, there’s a small delay (policy shifts + vacation), but I really like this chapter, and it’ll flow even better after pacing tweaks.
  • Numbers: not this month (Ren’Py is grumpy until the text is fully coded). I’ll share stats next month.
In short
Thanks for sticking with me, it genuinely helps. The coming weeks are pivotal: a recent positive Steam review and a quick nudge to friends can make a concrete difference.
See you very soon for the next update.

Glowing Stones Now Speaks Chinese!
Chinese language available in Glowing Stones
Hey everyone!
Some of you may have noticed a recent update for the game... but didn’t see any new content.

And that’s because this update doesn’t add new scenes... it adds new language!
Or to be precise: two new ones.
I once said I wouldn’t add more translations, mainly because I was worried I couldn’t keep them updated with every patch.
But things change! I finally found a translator I can truly rely on (after two failed attempts, that’s a big deal!).
And so...

Welcome to the Chinese version of Glowing Stones: Heroes’ Awakening!

The game is now fully available in English, French, German, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
All dialogues, images, and even videos have been translated.
And from the first feedback I’ve seen, the quality is excellent!
Steam Post from today.

A huge thank-you to our Chinese translator, who played over 30 hours of the game before even starting the translation. And yes, he’s a professional, not just a fan!
Thank you all for your continued support, and enjoy this new international version!

I’ll leave you in charming company...

Hello there,

Quick update since the last progress report. Things have calmed down a bit and production is ramping back up. Here’s what happened and where we stand.

Steam Daily Deal
Let’s be blunt: the Daily Deal didn’t perform. Bad timing (end of the month, a Saturday, big releases competing)? Maybe. Nothing catastrophic, but it did sting a bit... fuel for the road ahead.

RTX 4090 backup plan
NVIDIA ended the 40-series, and Daz3D isn’t compatible with the 50-series. Since all renders go through that pipeline, I secured a second-hand 4090 (had to buy the full PC to get it). If my current card dies, I can keep producing without interruption. Huge relief.

Chinese translation
It was a big lift (UI, buttons, images…), but the Chinese version is live. Thanks to the translator I plan to work with long-term. We saw a small "catch-up" effect from players who were waiting for that language.

Paperwork & taxes
End of year means a few half-days in the numbers to frame 2025. Not the most fun, but now I’ve got a clear path.

Better clothing sims
I learned a new garment simulation workflow for cleaner, more convincing animations. You should see the difference on screen.

New platform incoming
The game is coming very soon to another PC platform (you know, it’s a direct Steam competitor). That meant marketing work and some coding for achievements. It doesn’t replace development, but diversifying revenue and visibility is crucial right now.

Development status
Production has resumed. I’m back focusing on images and animations. Yes, I added one unplanned intimate scene (blame Aurora, it’s hard to say no).

Current numbers (rough estimates)
  • Writing: ~2,700 lines written.
1,400 lines of script, 400 dialog lines fully laid out.
  • Animations: 3 animations (~18 s, 1,080 frames).
  • Renders: 250 finished renders, 40 queued in IRay.
I’m behind my initial schedule, but the engine is running again—and that’s already a real win.
Thanks a lot for your support.

See you soon with more.

Actually not really true, Daz works perfect with the 50 Series. Only thing is, ya have to use the Public Alpha Version from Daz for now.
A lot of scripts most of the devs use aren't working with the public alpha. The 50s working just fine. That's correct.
