A pit many new developers fall into is increasing a game's difficulty until they find it is a satisfying level of challenge for themselves. As the person spending the most time with your game, you are going to be incredibly good at it. Increasing the challenge to a level you feel comfortable with will almost certainly be far too hard for anyone else, who is going to pick up your game for five minutes and hasn't been playing for dozens of hours while playtesting and messing around with the engine and code. Developers often play with handicaps to simulate the experience of someone who doesn't intimately know every aspect of the system, or of course they bring in playtesters, and they try to develop based on the experiences of other people rather then themselves. Although I am not on the dark souls development team or anything I'm pretty sure they did this, and didn't keep bumping difficulty up even if/when they became absolute masters of the system and could go through the game without estus flasks on one life with both hands tied behind their backs.

Maybe try aiming for a difficulty level that feels like it'd be 70% of your capability, or something. That should be plenty difficult for everyone else. It's really easy to make a game that's impossibly difficult but it's much harder and more satisfying for everyone else to make a game that is difficult and also fun.

If you're already trying to do this, fair enough, but something else to keep in mind.
Thank you for your feedback! I know what you mean, that's why the game is still in early access and I'm here often reading your guys feedback to polish the game. This version is focused on the core system of the game, I want to get the softspot between challenge and fun.

The game needs a tutorial map for when you starting playing, you know how things works and everything will be easier. This was already planned, but I decided to release without it. haha ha

I managed to beat the first boss, and it felt quite nice. The new aiming system is great, making it easier to focus on the enemies. Everytime i lost to the boss it felt like it was my fault and not me just struggling to fire shots at her.

All in all im quite excited for this project.

If someone are in doubt, I don't know if I did it right, but, I focused the boobs first to maximize the first bar, then ALL IN FOR THE PUSSAY BABY, and that's it, don't know if have any sex scene or something like that, but I beat the boss at least.
If it works, good! Remember, the baby's pussay hits rise the love bar faster than boobs

I am gathering information these days according to the feedbacks. I think the thing that is most needed is to make a tutorial map. People are struggeling more by did'n knowing how things works than with the real dificult of the boss.

I agree wholeheartedly with what he said. I personally love bullet hells. Lunatic, been there, done that. But what you did here doesn't really work yet imo.
First of all there is a bug (i guess) where shooting on the run is weird af and doesnt go off about 90% of the time. And being stationary to aim is the last thing i want to do here.

I also really dislike the idea of ammo, when there is stuff you just cannot harm at all, especially bosses. I understand that it is done to force the players to actually use the punch, but it is bad by design to leave players unable to do anything at all. Take a look at Resident Evil 4 for example. Ammo is extremely precious there, but you do have a knife with which you can complete the whole game. Yes, it is extremely hard to do so, but it IS possible, there are knife only/kill everything runs on YT. Leaving player without any method of actually doing anything is extremely bad design. I would either advice tying lust orbs to regeneration mechanic while drastically decreasing its damage to normal enemies, or introducing another unlimited ranged attack that deals low damage but does its job.

Finally what i find absolutely disastrous is a lack of screen clear aka bomb mechanic. While i understand why you did not implement it, i find it unacceptable. However, i have a great idea for you in mind in that regard: make bomb a punch special. Smth like hitting the ground and sending shockwave, you know the drill. Also make it a hard decision to actually use the bomb by making it cost a heart to use (it even makes sense, as a punch that strong would hurt you). This would render bomb using absolutely ridiculous for normal enemies, but a viable option on bosses when you are overwhelmed by too much adds. As for damage - i think that it should clear all projectiles and kill all normal enemies on screen, but should not do any damage to the boss. Well, maybe also make it fill bosses rage bar if you still find it too strong.

A quick and dirty fix for difficulty would be actually adding in difficulty levels and just adjusting heart amount. Something among the lines of easy - 12, normal - 7, hard - 5, brutal - 1 seems fine to me.

After H-events Guffus will have a buff that heal his purple mana [Kissing Orb ammo], 1 per second. up to a maximum of 100.

but its was not implemented yet.

So lets me share with you some items that are planned when I release the shop:
Fruits -> Ammo
Scroll of Protection -> 3 Hits Invulnerability
Chant of Bumbum -> Creates small area that destroys all kind of bullets for X seconds [safe zone]
Buy a special service -> H-Event [mana healing]

With the shop the game will be easier. Stay tuned, some good new things are coming!

Still a bug though, as it sometimes does allow to shoot while running, depending on the angle. Imo you should just allow shooting on the move, as i personally dont see how forcing being stationary ADDS to fun factor. Not a huge complaint though, so no big deal.

Because it is a guaranteed exit out of a tough situation, rather than wasting ammo and potentially loosing even more hearts. Like lets say i have 3-4 flying enemies on me during bossfight (it happened), some of which a those tough ones that take more than 1 hit to kill. Id much rather loose a heart and even the playing field than try and clear this stuff as is. Another important thing is bombs are fun. And i mean FUN FUN. And tying it to health seems interesting to me as it makes it more of a risk/reward option rather than storing ammo and getting that extra punch. Strong but punishing techniques are always fun. Take yoshimitsu from tekken for example. Executing that harakiri move succesfuly is so damn gratifying i cant even put it in words.

Sad to see you do not consider weapon ugrades. Thats almost a core mechanic of like every shootemup ever.

I didn't say that, i was just talking about the shop. weapon upgrade is another thing, there will be, more kind of orbs and special orbs for every Titan defeated (Like Megaman)
And better physical weapons too. looks some sprites that was already finished:

I mean, I found it really challenging, specially with the lack of ammo for the boss, but I just had to beat her and after 10 tries I could.

It's no harm to sweat a bit for those tiddies guys, we're too used to Visual Novels.

Thank you for you feedback! Im planning some ammo spawn at boss battle. Right now i'm working at tutorial map.

Yes it's true, I think some people must understand that video game, mean that you actually "play" something. Almost every h-game are the same thing, just changing the drawings unfortunately.
I'm developing a porn game, that actually have a gameplay. Or is it a game "with" porn? hahaha

If you have problems with ammo storing than you should use more boulders it can save a lot of ammo. Since it kills the small butterflies on one hit. On the boss the boulders are pretty good to destroy her lower armor too. When you shoot those sparkling things to get ammo/health do it with boulders too and you will see the difference.

HAHAHA! When i release the next battle scene you boner will be double paid!

had fun even before the update fixed those annoying controls.

PS: Cheat Engine works. All values are 4Byte.
Just hack the harts and orbs. GG wp.
don't try to hack the hit respawn invincibility. It will permanently disable your attacks.
