Try starting from simply adding music. Sound effects are not that important, but music can entirely change the perception of the game.

I confirm that I, as a "player," also keep the audio turned off, so I don't pay much attention to whether a game has it or not.
However, it's true that both here and on itch.io, a lot of people ask for it. My main issue with audio is that syncing it with the sex scenes is a hassle—it would take me much more time for development, and I’d end up extending the development timeline further.
You notice there’s no audio, but in this type of game, how many people actually leave it "on"? If I were to include it, it would probably be more about the "click" sounds and text effects, along with some background music, rather than syncing it specifically with the scenes.

this is true i too mute most ero games music when i play there is some i dont but those are the ones with custom soundtracks and high production budgets

will the album codes ever be made public or is that something that is planned to be kept exclusive or is it possible to make only the previous updates cards open to the public and the current updates card exclusive ex. v0.9 cards are public but v1.0 cards are exclusive could something like that work

Actually, I would like the NSFW version cards and the “extra” Events to remain behind a code, precisely because, by default, if you take the example code for version 0.1.0, you also unlock all past content.

The game is intentionally 95% free. In the end, the code only unlocks extra NSFW content not tied to the story, which consists of either videos or images of the girl in cosplay.
The same goes for the extra events.
The story behind the code in the events is a mini-story that doesn’t alter the perception of an event in any way.

In the end, the first time you pay, you unlock everything up to that point, and I don’t think I will change that decision.
