But I only just got past the first scene with Solara, and I gotta say, especially playing this game high as a kite, all the jokes, and each girls' personalities hit for me. It's been awhile since I've actually ENJOYED a game.

I think that now the first part is something like 50% of the game, but I don’t think that the fact that the game starts without audio is really related to the story.

It was my mistake.
I’ve played tons of games, including one of my favorites, Corruption by Mr. C, and it had no audio. Somehow I just assumed that audio wasn’t that important lol.
Given how the game is structured, even if I wanted to change it now, the lack of audio at the beginning is my fault, but it’s too deeply rooted in the plot to fix at this point, unfortunately.[/QUOTE

I do sometimes get jumpscared by the menu music when in the first half of the game. I started skipping the dev/Kety scenes before they explained the audio thing, but the menu music seems to have been spared, even early on.

Given how the game is structured, even if I wanted to change it now, the lack of audio at the beginning is my fault, but it’s too deeply rooted in the plot to fix at this point, unfortunately.

Didn't realize it was actually that deep/important. Will the self-insert/Kety thing be important for the overall main story in the future then?
