Edit2:
Oh well, crappy unity being crappy.. This is never gonna be fixed for w7 (not sure about w8) (Here I mean because the game devs will never upgrade the unity version to the "fixed" one, read the posts for more info)

Literally the very next unity version has the fix lol
anyways i was able to trick it into thinking it was built for the 2020.3.7 version of unity player.dll (version with the fix) and was able to make it work.
WINDOWS 7 fixed version (64bit)

(dlc pre-applied.)
since i won't pay attention enough to update this if any updates come out, steps to manually patch: i downloaded and installed the build/editor of unity specifically version 2020.3.7, found the unity player pre-built files in program files (already forgot where, search unityplayer.dll in unity's program files to find the folder.) copyed over the data/managed and mono folders and exe files overwritting any conflicts. at this point it will complain of a editor version mismatch, so i opened all of the binary files in goblintrap_data/ and replaced the 2020.3.6 version at the top of any files that had it with 2020.3.7 and that fixed it and everything worked
