No one has heard from the dev in almost 2 months now. Hard to say what's actually happened to him or the project.

Version 6 is really buggy and does that, but I think someone else posted already a solution in this thread about how to replace the animations from the previous version to this one
Downloading and replacing the animations work for some of the bugs, but not all of them. Many of Wiz’s scenes are bugged in both.

Dev was supposed to fix that, guess the game is trapped in limbo till either he returns or the game gets casted into abandoned hell
Coded just messaged on discord that he will update today. He said he had a situation in life but that apparently now has been resolved.

Granted I assume the hotfix only fixes the
"Fix Iris's bodyguard and Megumin 3rd vanilla scene in recollection room"
The error about the missing image
"Fix error missing image when entering area 2 town outskirts"
Still happens with the hotfix so you won't get very far in the game starting a new save. I tried messing with the monster file but it still won't load so we either have to wait for another patch or someone smarter than me can figure out how to fix it.

Do you have another link that is not on Mega? i can't download it without waiting hours because of mega download limit.
I removed the png file and it worked.
Could you please try and confirm if it's fine for you too?

It makes me laugh that someone who uses RPG Maker makes such a childish mistake of leaving a png image in the img/character folder. Here is the solution: just delete that file and replace it with this one.
