Okay so i went back and gave the game another try, this time i went with the beast story line. For those that felt similar to me about the forced part of the elf story i can 100% say the beast side is good. (the rest of it will be in a spoiler)

So ya If anyone else didnt enjoy the elf side definitely give the beast side a try, ik i enjoyed it 100x more than the elf side of the story. Id say the only benefit to the elf side is what you learn about the MC on the elf side.

I'm getting quite a bit of "Image not found" backgrounds throughout the story.. especially side quests.

I played this game from it's first release, it started out alright, but the feature creep and writing 3 storylines really hit it hard. In my humble opinion, There's a reason most VNs (even the ones developed by teams) do routes and not entirely different story lines, consistency and scope.

If you play the beast side you find out why i say that. At least those in the one kingdom

Man I am pissed that there was no choice given to bring Arcanea on my journey to the dark elves land, it would have been my choice to bring her along on the ship, I would have told galathea that she either let Arcanea on board or do it without me

Oh no all my saves give errors had all three paths up until the final contant.

Edit: Baaaah it still ends at the same spot as before now there is just a version were you can choose how brutal you wanna be in a couple of the scenes.

The saves part is pretty bad, the choice was there before, I think the less violent scenes have been added, and that's actually a good thing, the pure brutality felt a little off with the MCs idea that drove him to switch sides in the first place.

I do understand the disappointment over all of this though, I share it, since it's not like this gets an update every other day

Was is? Huh well as we established the time between the updates might have made me forget.
I know for sure there was no choice that made the mc spare the prisoners before on the beast path, but maybe the choice was there and it just dident really do anything?

I will admit I skip a third of the content as I just briefly checked to see if the human story had a "fuck them up from withing" type of angle but that was not the case.

On the topic of update it kind of makes sense you dont see updates too often with this game. With 3 entirely different storylines its kind of hard to expect updates quickly. Unless you just want micro updates or updates that dont add to your storylin you may be interested in. For example id ignore any updates with elf updates because that crap with the human mage PISSED me off royally... BUT an update to the beast side id be like HELL YEA! so id rather slower updates if the dev splits the focus between all 3.

Calling it not an update is an insult...
Its bigger than any singular chapter 2 he released.
It added many side quests, despite not necessarily main content other than actually choosing the ending type (and probably locking you in the beast route) there is still quite a good amount of new content.

New Additions:

• You can now stop the replay on the menu.
• You can now return to the main menu via the options menu instead of only the right click.
  Bugfixes:
• Fixed Sub Chapter "Innder Demons" missing from the gallery
• Fixed "Pepper Intimacy" and "Morning Desires" from not being able to be naturally unlocked on playthroughs.
• Fixed a bug where after Room 3 you wouldnt' receive following quests.
• Fixed all story map sequences where the map is used.
• Fixed grammar issues.
• Fixed missing bar visuals on the mobile version of the game.
• Fixed the button sizing and visuals on the map for the mobile version of the game.
• Fixed a couple of missing renders.

  I'd say the writing/plot for Chapter 4 Finale of Elven Route is at 20%~ish percent.
