I'll rate the game after I finish it, but even without finishing it, I have enough to say here:
*** Never go halfway between insanity and reality ***
You want a game where fucking starts absolutely instantly and you're fucking your best m8, your bully and your mom on day 1? No problem, just invent a world where that shit happens on the reg, or give the MC a magic ring. Blamo, done.
Want a game with a story and characters and a narative and events that tie in togeathere? Well then spend some time on character development.
A woman's child has changed his entire body (not just appearance, everything) magically in an instant. She will not go "oh, you look different", she'd scream and be confused.
*** If you can't make a story, skip it ***
Either invest in the world, take time with what is happening, have your characters react to the world around them, don't just go
* Door is gone, time to play
* It says you should impregnate your mom
* Mom: meh, why not.
If you find you can't do this, then go down the insanity route, or the "everyone except the MC can't see the magic". Aka either make a world where it's 100% normal for a son to barge into the lavatory, see that it's ocupied by his mom, and have him piss on her, while she doesn't even react, alomst as if this is the normales thing to have ever normaled.
That or have the MC do all sorts of magic, but everyone else doesn't even understand that something is different, they just go with the flow.

As for compression, all files are already in webm format, there might be a stray gif or two that hasn't been converted yet but theyre smaller in size and i dont see the game getting as big as some of the entirely gif based ones. For comparison the equivalent of a 2mb webm file would be a 50mb gif, yea i checked, my NAS would hate me.
