Not necessarily in an open relationship. He survives even if Ash decides to stay faithful. All the player should do is to be sure that Ash has enough bad points to fuck with Doug in the same day they meet. After that, be honest with Eric and tell him that Ash cheated.
Just felt the need to comment on how out of place the good/bad route vs. the relationship with Bernard is starting to feel. Playing through it once again, I'm hitting the point where Bernard talks to Ash about the sex they had, and Ash has a moral crisis. With my Ash being about 90% bad in this playthrough, I managed to get the initial sex scene started, but since my Ash has.. mid forties somewhere bad girl points, and only 13 (so <20) good girl points, I can only respond with outrage and a moral crisis over incest. For reference, good girl Ashley would dive headfirst into this incestuous tryst if you pick that option.
This is the opposite of making sense. I've known plenty of bad and good girls. To the good girls, anal is often a crazy fantasy, a taboo like incest will scare them away. They wouldn't even get past the social pressure behind it to start considering the topic personally.
Conversely, I have yet to meet a bad girl who hasn't already, by herself, at least fantasized about incest just for the sheer taboo of it, just because it's another way for them to push the envelope. They might chance it and act on those fantasies on their own. They will generally take the bait if it's sincerely offered.
Having a good girl Ash bump into this subject, and tangle with it and maybe warm up to it, is one thing. But for good Ash to be the one chasing this, and bad Ash to not just skip it, but act outraged.. It doesn't add up bro.

I mean that typically crazier shit has already come up, and incest isn't really a new idea nor a shocker. Because they're perverts, like you and me. While I've known them to be aware of society's take on the issue and their need to play it coy.. Let me take the "bad girls" I've had relationships with for example. One was already fantasizing about incest to the point of wanting to set up a sexual relationship with her dad and her brother, and in the event we had a daughter at the appropriate age insisted I make her a woman. Number two hated her family too much, but wanted me to publicly play her brother or daddy as a running theme. Another didn't have a particular focus on it, but dug the idea of just being bred as a slut and wouldn't really care. Point is, incest was no longer a shocker to them. I wouldn't overthink it. I assumed that the whole storyline is a sort of meta joke: a bad girl will be a bitch to her dad, a good girl will be nice to her dad, and a VERY good girl will be REEEEEALLY nice to her daddy. I don't think the logic intended to go beyond that.
Well sure, we're just shooting the shit about it. Mind you GGGB is one of my favorites if not my favorite, and IMO Eva isn't some hgame producer but an artist and I'll gladly continue to support her on Patreon, and tbh this is one way of getting a diverse array of generated storylines. But I think she's mature enough to handle people spitballing about these things on a forum without calling it quits or uprooting her script.

Putting all the accusations and all the personal opinions aside this has been one heck of a game!
