There's Our Red String which is a game that is currently in development by the same creator, found here: https://f95zone.to/threads/48813/. There's improvements on every aspect of the game as compared to GGGB. Unfortunately, it's only in English.

Lust Campus is from a different developer, but EvaKiss provided some assistance in its development. It has a charming visual style and is well-written. See: https://f95zone.to/threads/64103/. Language options are English and Spanish only.

While you can say that the overal gamemaking and probably graphics are better. The writing is highly subjective and I certainly do not agree with that. Duo Protags are tricky to write and almost no one pulls them of red string is the same. I still have this game on my computer. I am not returning to red string till it's done. Also you should read this.

I'm holding out on playing Red String until it is finished, so I can't judge on that game, but looking at GGGB, I'd say it shouldn't be THAT difficult to make a multi protagonist game like that.
For an ACTUAL story, heavy on plot, I'd be inclined to agree with the article you linked, but the plot of GGGB is nothing to write home about, and you'd think you can have multiple thin plots like that in the same game.
And there's several ways to do multi-protagonist, for example you can do it like in the movie "Vantage Point" or in the early Half-Life games, which could be an excellent fit for a GGGB-like game.

On the other hand, even in GGGB things could already get a little repetitive. It never bothered me in this game, but with a multi-protagonist game, you are kinda bound to tread the same ground several times, which might be a problem.
I'll see when RS is finished and I finally play it, I guess.

However, from what I've read in peoples reviews and that games reviews, and also from the perspective of just having played GGGB many, many times, I'd say it'll be hard to replicate the sheer lewdness of this game.
Ash corrupts herself and those around her, if so she (or rather the player) desires, and touches on most things you can reasonably touch on whilst staying within the confines of the law. The most prominent kink mostly absent from it that comes to mind is BDSM (submissive Eva hardly counts), also some pretty out there stuff like urination or scat or somesuch, or even more niche things like sissification.
But personally, I neither missed nor car much about those.
So I have a hard time imagining how EvaKiss is going to match or even surpass the lewdness of GGGB in this new game. And even if she does, it'll be hard to not just "copy" stuff.

Finally, one has to assume she wanted to "grow" somehow, as a developer / artist. Her art has definately improved, and the multiple protagonists probably make for a more complicated game. On the flipside, this meant taking on external help (at least I think I read that) and longer development cycles - precisely the reason I'm holding out on the game, I hate waiting for two or even more months for an update that then has an underwhelming amount of content.

Either way, I wish her all the luck in her endeavor and hope for the best.

Anyone have a definitive console command guide?
I know the basic good= and bad= but i'm looking to manipulated relationships as True or False yet it's not working (More specifically i'm trying the command to break up with Eric to get the Dave scene as he turns Ashley down otherwise). I've used dir() and tried playing around with the different Eric commands but nothing seems to be working. Any help would be great.

I posted the commands that I discovered a couple of years ago, here is the list, I also have to add the command "pussy = True / False" for the pussy tattoo

I wish there was a "settings" option to flat out skip tattoo offers.
I didn't want them neither on red nor blue paths.
I really like the idea of her being completely smooth as new.
A girl who looks nothing like a bimbo getting into hardcore situations.
But as it is every time you wanna see a different path requires saying no to them like 9 times.

As far as I know if you are on the purely good path (only blue choices) you get tattoo offer maybe twice. Of course interating with certain characters leads you to getting the question asked more.

I think Eric, Dave, Dad, Ryan, Jess and Eve paths might be what you are looking for. (choose all blue)

Even then, there’s no way to avoid all of them, or all the body modifications, on a “bad girl” path. I’m just gonna say it, she looks pretty hideous when you get her all the way down the slut or bimbo paths, I can’t look at the artwork in those paths at all if I’m trying to get off, it’s a boner kill.

That's above all because of what the art does to her eyebrows in any "bad girl" appearance, reducing it to a trimmed line. I hate it when women destroy their eyebrows that way IRL, and it's not different in this game.

This game is already brilliant, but would have become the Holy Grail of Porn games if it had given the player full Barbie-doll control over the character, with all the already existing features.

I think the only two routes that require modification are the pornstar and the gang whore, and both happen extremely late. There are still plenty of other bad girl routes with Arthur, Tyrone and crew, being a camgirl, and Jack and the strip club that do not require modification.
