In my old playthrough, iirc Ashley went for her fix after she's stripping at Jack's club, and I have no choice in the matter. Considering you need substantial bad points to get Jack's route, is it possible to avoid getting addicted?
Like 99% sure after that scene during the epilogue it gets stated that porn star Ash breaks up with whoever is her partner for a number of different reasons (most of the possible partners is because they eventually got too uncomfortable with it, I think with cuck Eric is that Ash just got too busy and bored to be with him at all).

Yeah I got it mixed up, if you get the open relationship Alpha Eric doesn't break up with Ash regardless of how the interview goes.
The conditions should still be the ones I mentioned (Ash reaches Whore/Bimbo transformation). The choice should come up in that part where Ash normally decides between commiting or continue to cheat. Don't remember if there's also a good/bad points requirement (maybe 15 good points but I'm just guessing at this point.
It's funny that there's so many choices but I'm unwilling to pick other choices because of how happy of an ending I got. Oh well, that's for others to choose.

1. Admire Jack when possible
2. Agree to meet up later during 1st meeting
3. If you do 1 & 2 During 1st gym meeting you get chance to interact with Jack.
4. Choose blue choices in bar
5. At beach accept Jack advance. (You have higher chance if you have piercing and/or tattoo or black bikini. However if you don't invite Natasha you can interact with Jack regardless).
6. Pick the " don't mind option" when interacting with Jack after paparazzi photo come out.
7. Accept date and follow through on blue options.
8. After second club meeting when Jack invites you to his place go with him alone.
9. Do not have relationship with Tyronne.

Given what you wrote, it's hard to tell what's going wrong in your attempt, but I'll try anyway. The requirements to get a successful open relationship with Eric are the ones you already mentioned, so I can only pictures two possible problems:
1) You got the requirements wrong: supporting his trip means you have to choose the option "Be understanding" (which requires at least 9 Good points), not just "Respect his choice". So be sure to choose the former answer when given the option and of course to have enough Good points to do that. If this is not the problem, then...
2) You are not even reaching the scene where you can choose "I would like an open relationship", because you break up with Eric before that. This can only happen if you agreed to go with Wilson to the toilets or if you kissed Wilson and admitted it to Eric picking the "Be honest" option. If this is the case, then just don't do that
