Dude, all "art" in GGGB is made from photo tracing. Sad. With such a huge budget developer could hire good artists...

As long as you can enjoy a female protagonist, this is the best game I know. The branching is huge and well made. There are only a few errors (and they need some exotic choices I guess ^^) but several endings and paths to reach them. I played ~20-30 runs of this game, because there are always new branches to find. At least everybody should try this game to see if its their thing.
That might be true, but I am fine with the art - the branching progression is way more important for me. I think the game could even work as text only (with some added flavor text), just because there is so much to find on the way to the endings.

I wish there was more customization for the characters. Not only for the main one but for all of the other girls as well, starting with the option to give all girls boob jobs.

I loved the game, the only thing i wish was different is the clothing, i dont like that you are forced into a style depending on stats, especially in those mixed playthrough i enjoyed so much. Would be nice to be able to choose your style in the next game.

I've always been fascinated with the complaint that art in GGGB features "tracing". Consider the hundreds of different scenes and poses (yes, there are repeats, but go back and count).
Now, anyone want to try their hand at tracing? Anyone able to consistently produce quality representations like what's in this game?
Tracing is not easy and it should not be used as a pejorative in this game. The game is widely loved and not the least for the artwork...and that is the proper description of the illustrations in this game.

I have always found it odd that adult games using clips from existing porn videos is accepted as ok and yet this "tracing" style is disliked as cheating. And really even if it is traced, its not in a gallery, the purpose is to clearly tell the story. If it doesnt fit personal taste, then fine, but to imply cheating as art?

I always enjoyed GGGB's artstyle. It's not rendered, but it's very consistant and pleasant to look at. Much better than most HTML games.
it's an interesting concept. it limits what you can do though. I don't really mind it either though.
Part of it is that the dev doesn't appear to outright acknowledge that they traced (I've not gone looking to see, but I may be wrong here). Part of it is that tracing without acknowledgement, or tracing and claiming it as your own, has always been a BIG no-no in the art community. Tracing is fine as a learning or cost-cutting measure, but only when you acknowledge it clearly and don't try to claim it as completely your own work. Tracing requires a lot less skill and it's sorta rude to claim it as original. That said, this appears to be stylized as hell, so it is sorta borderline.
The use of clips from existing porn videos/reuse of existing photos and drawings gets a pass because most people see those clips/images and go 'oh, the dev isn't artistically skilled' vs someone tracing existing stuff and claiming it as their own causing people finding out about it to feel lied to regarding the skill level/integrity of the artist.

Speculation and some evidence may show that DaVinci, Rembrandt, and other famous artists of that period used tracing from a type of projection system using mirrors and lenses and simply 'traced' self portraits and other great works of art.
