I'd say leave the face as the base design on the left, but I agree with giving her the new blue eyes.

Gotcha, you meant compared to the first model.
The skin isn't too dark imo, she's not necessarily Japanese, she could be Cambodian or Vietnamese or something.
I agree the eyes look less "Asian" but the first model just had fucked up eyes, they would get all weird when I used facial expressions so I would have to modify them in every render to keep them consistent.

I don't know what a gyaru is but it sounds like an "Americanized" Asian which is really not my intention.

Gyaru is a asian lifestyle of women who slap on a lot fake tan, dye their hair golden blonde and wear too much make-up to try and look sexy as hell.

I agree that this one looks better than the previous overhaul you showed, but the blue eyes are still weird to me. Blue eyes just seem really out of place to me when it comes to "Asian features".
