Why is the taboo patch the same for parts 2+3, as well as 4? Both patches say Part 4. Is it the same file that works for both?

Parts 2 and 3 just use the same patch, there was nothing to be added to it in between. Part 4 uses a slightly different one though.
It's why I said earlier that he must be trolling with that wish. I mean seriously, why does anyone want to play "GRANDMA'S HOUSE" and avoid the very woman the game's title is based on. Either he has a phobia with elderly people, or he's a masochist that wanted people to bash him for the senseless wish.

I visited my grandparents this last weekend, my grandma is in her early 70's. The recent hot scenes with grandma in this game kept popping into my head while I was there... it made it so weird

I wanna start part 3 but i have it compressed and part 2 isnt compressed, is it an issue since i cant start part 3? I am not able to load the save i made from part 2

Was the save from part 2 made at the absolute end of it, i.e. on the screen where you get the prompt for saving the game? That is the only thing that could cause an issue as far as I am aware. Now admittedly I'm no expert in the matter of compressed/non-compressed compatibility, but I can't imagine there should be any issues using saves from one version with the other (and vice versa) since it really is the same game, after all.
...But again, I am by no means an "expert" so take my advisement under, well... Advisement.

Thank you for your reply, there's a final render saying thanks and instructs to rollback and save.. I saved on that last render and on the render before as instructed.. When I launch Part 3, all saves from part 2 show but cant load them including these last 2 which i should be able to load.. The only save working to start part 3 is the one exactly at the end of game part 2 when it says "SAVE NOW". All others won't work. It should be no problem if you used the uncompressed or compressed game version. If that still does not work I recommend to try the saves provided from the Walkthrough Mod linked on the main page, they should as far as I know also work even without using it.

If the screen you saved on looks like this:
The save will load.
If it doesn't... you have a different problem.
THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE WHERE THE SAVE WILL WORK
Well this isnt showing but I just realized why.. my part 2 version is 0.34 and it should be 0.37 so it's my bad.. Thank you all for you help anyways.
