Not even by a long shot, my man! v0.70 is the latest one available to us filthy freeloaders, which is part 5. What you have is just part 1. So my suggestion is: Download part 2, and while you are doing that you keep on playing through part 1 until you get to a screen with a big old "SAVE NOW!" on it. Then you do exactly that: Save the game. Afterwards you open up part 2, load that save you created at the end of part 1, and keep on playing. Rinse and repeat till you are all caught up on the game!
...And then you may or may not feel a bit agitated after basically overdosing on the game and being unable to get more just yet.

Nope. If you can't even be bothered to play through the game properly, then you are going to be stuck with a name you don't want. Beggars can't be choosers.

You can use the linked mod on the main page. With it you can rename the mc and I think also most of the used nick names in the game

Well, if we needed any more proof that you are completely useless, you just confirmed it by being unable to install a mod properly.
The mod works perfectly and as intended.

Only reason for it not to work (well, in 99.9% of the times) is because the save wasn't made at the exact spot.
