To any newcomers: I'd say don't avoid any paths, there are quite a few surprises even if you're not particularly interested in the main course. (Experienced ones please tell me if there's missable content, as some games block some routes when you take others)

Nothing is blocked if you take ALL paths, some content is blocked if you don't take certain paths.

There are some paths that depend on another being taken, but, taking all paths doesn't block anything.

You could just load an earlier save and continue from there. By right-clicking the skip button, it would take you literally less than a minute to get caught up.

I really don't understand the appeal.

They see a game with multi parts, instead of starting on the first, as an intelligent person would, they start on the last. Then they figure out that they need a save from a previous part. And what do they do? They come here and lie, hoping no one figures out.

Not only are they being completely....... let's say unintelligent, they are calling us all the same.

But, what baffles me the most, is why? Why try to jump to the end? To see if they like it? Wouldn't that be better to do on the First part? Do they think this is a race and the first to get to the latest content wins? I don't get it. I really don't. What is there to gain by doing this?

I would really like to understand.
