lmao at "a bit further away", the sports that are practiced on the sea were really far away from Paris.

The sailing competitions took place in Marseille at the very south of France, that's an 8 hour drive from Paris.

The surfing competitions were a bit closer tho. They took place in Tahiti, which is a 22 hour flight. Oh wait that's not closer, that's on the other fuckin side of the planet

Yeah, i know. So why the hell didn't they surf in Paris, we've all seen how nice the beaches are. There are no waves?
As if France didn't have an island on "its territory" where you can surf pretty well.

To be fair, an 8 hour drive isn't that far for Americans But yeah, as a Dutchie myself it's funny to see how often AVNs misrepresent Europe, especially when it comes to distance between places and the habits of their inhabitants.

I love hiking in the Netherlands. My favorite mountains are there.

Could someone please share their "Save Now!" file from the end of Part 5 with me? Mine is 0.54 and doesn't work with this update (0.92).

Your v0.54 save is from almost the beginning of game part 3. Why do you need a save for the end of part 5? That would skip all the content in between (rest of part 3 + also part 4 and 5). Makes not really sense for me.

I am going to assume you are on PC (or equivalent) since I don't think the phone version is possible to update with the 0.91 > 0.92 download. So with that in mind, here goes:

1. Download the aforementioned update. (I'm further assuming you have already done this, but you know, might be worth mentioning regardless. Who knows? Not me, that much is certain.)
2. Open up the downloaded archive file using whatever software you prefer for it. Since you have 0.91 installed already, I am going to additionally assume you know how to do that.
3. Open the Grandma's House 0.92 folder inside the archive file.
4. Copy the contents of the folder, not the entire folder itself, so in other words "just" the renpy, lib, game folders, and all the rest of the stuff.
5. Paste the files into your installed game folder (i.e. the Grandma's House 0.91 folder.)
6. Play the game and enjoy the newest update!

There you go, friend. Have fun!

PS: This exact sequence is done for every "minor" update, i.e. the ones that are "just" updates to the individual parts. Once MB gets started on part 7 however, you will have to download that as a separate thing, just as you did with parts 1-6.

Just going to throw an oiled wrench into this ... Everything Mal said is correct, but I've had success just copying the folder "game" and it's contents from the archive file and pasting it (and nothing else) into the active Grandma's House folder. I also make sure I rename the active Grandma's House folder to reflect the new update being added.
