Do you folks have any kind of a timeline in mind for the foreseeable future? As Amra is your only engineer, I'm thinking the pace of development will be rather slow, especially given your stated desire to pursue AAA quality for this game.
Hey there :) The progress up until this point from a public perspective as been a bit slow, however under the surface a LOT of work has been done to a 80-90% completion state. This means, with resources for us to work full time, playable content will be polished and pumped out really quickly. Many people don't know, but this project has actually been in development for nearly four years. We used to be known as Cthulhuean, with our previous game Pillars of Perversion. The game direction has changed a lot since then, however those years of valuable work will see us producing content at a rate much higher than you would expect from such a small team.

So, I gave it a run. Loved the girl. Loved the outfit. The kind of dress I like my heroines to be dressed in.

The game did take some time to load, though. However, I guess it was all part of the set-up. You know, slow build-up, keep us in suspense. Then, once it did start, everything was moving very, very slowly. You know, like Slo-Mo; Super Slo-Mo. But I guess the heroine was high, and you wanted to give us a feel of it. All part of the demo, you know. Then, there were these weird little black boxes floating above the book in the tent. For a moment, I wondered what they were. Then I realized the heroine was probably hallucinating the damn things. Then, she interacted with the book and got fucked by invisible beings with visible dicks. My first thought was, "What the hell? Why can I see only dicks and absolutely nothing else"? Then I realized. It IS a game based around a fantasy world. So, they were probably some other-dimensional beings. Not out of place in such a world.

Well, that's the conclusion I did draw. It surely can't be my computer, can it?

Very brief demo, but I have a sound idea, now, of the good things that are to come.

Game mechanics reminded me of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. One of two mainstream games I ever took to loving. However, I'd appreciate it if you were to implement keyboard customization down the line. Because I'm more of an "arrow key" kind of guy. I've never been comfortable with WASD.

Rest, everything looks promising. I'll be keeping an eye on this game. I hope there's a good story behind it, too.

And, lastly, could you, please, implement different graphics settings in your future updates? Like, maybe, Ultra, High, Medium, and For Those with Trashy Systems.
Fantastic! Thanks so much for checking it out, I'm glad you managed to find a way (sort of!? :ROFLMAO:) to make it run without any optimisation. I'm guessing the little black boxes were the particle effects not rendering correctly, they should be lovely little floaty blue sparkles. I like your creativity though - great attitude! :) Will definitely have varied graphics settings in following public builds.
Thanks for the feedback about the keybindings too, we're both WASD fans so I appreciate an arrow key user bringing this up. I can guarantee story and character development will be a huge focus for us in future.

You can swing by the Time stamps thread .. Where some other VNgineer is boasting a modified self coded Unity base engine for their game. Their improvements consist of keeping a small foot print on the system -> like the game dir after decompression is the same size as the rar archive it ships in and it never bloats to a whopping 4-5 GB in game <- I think you can have a look at that aspect also, just to be aware of the fore front of unity gaming, like I said, all the advantages to you to implement the best in the business and succeed with innovation and the right amount of dedication and skill;)!

Will it be third-person only or is a first-person view planned?

Regarding character creation/customization, you said it could be gender fluid, so there will be F+M, F+F, M+M, Futa+F, Futa+M & Futa+Futa?
Basically everyone can fuck everybody. Or does the game have limits like NPC's with sex/gender preference?
I wouldn't blame you, as to animate all of this would not be very easy. Still, hoping for a good amount of yuri content.

Thanks so much for checking us out :) for the moment only third-person perspective is planned. It would be easy enough to implement a first person perspective for exploring the world however we will likely not transfer this for use in gameplay (ie combat, dialogue etc.). There will be all kinds of sexual interactions available, we have no prejudices towards gay or futa content, it will just be a matter of getting these models in which will take a bit more time. As females are our first fully developed models, there will be yuri content added nearly immediately in the next build.

Hey there, thanks for checking out the project :) as mentioned through the thread, optimisation has not been completed as the focus was for an animation and visual test. However, optimisation and accessibility is a high priority for us once we have the time and resources to commit.

good concept, but, i'm still not see any animation, i got crash after interact with the book.

this is a dumb question but how do i take lustranomicon? there's an 'E' bar not sure if i press E or do something about the shiny book on the table. how do i do it? what are the controls? i mean aside from AWSD for navigation

Hey there, no dumb questions at all...happy to see you’re playing! :)
Yes pressing the “E” key while camera directed at the Lustranomicon should trigger a fade-to-black transition to the sex animation. However, others have noted an occasional bug when “E” does not trigger. I’d suggest reloading the game and try again. Let me know how you go :) either way, we hope to have another free build out in the not-too-distant future which will include more animations and big fixes.

Oh no, I’m so sad to see it isn’t working for you :cry: confirming you tried fully closing down and restarting the game? If you could send us the game log via DM, I’ll pass this on to Amra to patch in the next build.

Unfortunately this does mean you will need to wait until the next public build (but we anticipate this to only be a matter of a couple of weeks away anyway). You can see some gifs of our animations on our Twitter in the meantime (link in my signature).

Wow this is an amazing game.
I do hope you continue it. I especially like the fact that you plan to model it based on 90s D&D so i hope there will be things like damage resistances where you'll need to switch to a different weapon and perhaps somewhere far down the line even magic spells.
The animations are definitely great and so is the art style.

Yes, you can definitely expect traditional and classic RPG gameplay with D&D influences all throughout, including detailed skill development. We feel modern day games have far too much focus on making gameplay so all-encompassing, with all characters, races and classes basically being the same play style with a different “skin”. We are determined to hone in on the special and unique mechanics and style of old school CRPGs (think Baldur’s Gate) that have always evoked a sense of magic and imagination which has been lost in the AAA industry in current day. In addition to bringing in fun modern mechanics of the survival/action genre and of course...adult content! I think you will enjoy what is to come soon, our vision will become more obvious with the next few builds we bring out over the coming weeks/months.

Looks cool, but it also looks like a project, which will be a loooooooong time in development.
Good stuff often tend to be like that :D

Cool demo, looks promising.
Rome wasn’t built in a day, but I’m sure they kept positive and focused on their huge ambitions the whole time! :p
For those that don’t know, Amra and I are a husband and wife team and are expecting to dedicate our lives entirely for the next 5-10 years towards making this project all it can be. Aside from financial investment (which will come in time), nothing stands in our way. As ambitious as a project of this scope is, we are confident we can get it off the ground and develop it into something amazing into the future. Thanks for your support, I hope you love what is to come soon!

"E" take not working :S
Hey there, another user has also experienced this. Not entirely sure why this is happening, however we do have a crash log for this error and will investigate before the release of the next build. I would suggest reloading and see if that help, otherwise we will be releasing another public demo over the next few weeks which will have even more content and performance improvements for you to enjoy :) thanks so much for checking us out!
