Really tho, I'm truly feel bad for you because you can't satisfied everyone and can't developing the game the way you wanted

Part of the problem with the NTR stuff specifically is that some people have certain...notions of how society is supposed to function and they think (female) non-monogamy is inherently deviant, and then if you point out that NTR is really a subset of cheating and has specific characteristics that a given game lacks they'll just give you an eyeroll reaction and report the game to try and force an NTR tag. And they do it for every. single. game. that has women characters who don't spend their time barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen.

You see a little of that with people that barge in to tell developers they're doing goblins wrong if the game isn't "Goblin Slayer, but you're the goblin" as if goblins hadn't been in folklore for centuries before GS came along and did something unique with them, but it's to nowhere near the same degree.

Luckily gacorman70 continues to work on the game despite these Debbie Downers, so I don't have to say "this is why we can't have nice things".

I wouldn't even consider it NTR. NTR is about having your partner 'stolen'. Goblins don't care about that. They are all about gathering in groups and using their numbers and doing stuff all together in a horde.

I feel like many people being too hard on the "sharing the girls to other" and putting it together with NTR, because I don't think our Goblin Boss aren't even that lovey dovey to them at all. They all came to him for some other reason beside the actually like him, some for adventure and other for revenge so they are likely just want to depend on and use his power and his warband and reward it back if he was succeed
In fact, the way our boy have done so far was already unorthodox and didn't following the traditional goblin way of "raid, kidnap, fuck and breed" with all the women. I'm actually expect his warband would go full on genghis khan and just raiding those villages and town, taking all the women and things they needed and then rape and breed as many future goblin warriors as possible so the way the developer have done so far was really nice

That's the whole thing, it isn't NTR, even calling it Sharing would be a stretch. Grolokk doesn't love these women, they are just pieces of meat for his enjoyment and if he can use them to further his cause he will, with no heartache. Absolute snowflakes getting constantly upset about anyone but the main character doing any fucking, it's ridiculous.

Yeah but people gunna people and you are 90% right (there is a little heartache[jealousy] on Grolokks part when the scene in question happens) We really did go through all this back when 0.3 came out and the "give an option to skip" and slap some tags on it was/is the best fix and can be worked in organically to the scene so it's not annoying to the rest of us as long as Gacorman remembers to do it that way when the time comes to fix it. A lot of the issues peeps have with the story(and it is the story they have problems with[said scene included]) are all resolved if peeps would pay attention to it and how the NPCs motives all tie in to/with Grolokk's ego trip or in the untimely death scene

I think it's more likely that most of these players are men and they want to power trip by having exclusivity to the female characters. I don't think there's a lot of social conservative political philosophers playing these porn games, bro.

There's nothing about what I said that requires the people doing this to be philosophers, just susceptible to the rhetoric—and being on the lookout for a way to power trip definitely makes them susceptible to the rhetoric of those pushing traditional gender roles, which includes the notion that men should be psychotically possessive of their sexual partners.

There's also been a steady stream of very outspoken social conservatives getting caught doing things they themselves decried. (Jerry Falwell Jr. is just the latest in a long line I've seen over the twenty-odd years I've been an adult.) They're just as freaky as the rest of us, they just have to be secretive about it.

That's because the 0.4 release was a "scaffolding and infrastructure" update to address feedback from Chapter 1, not a story update.

There's a difference between sharing and NTR though. And between pimping out and NTR. Unfortunately there are a lot of casual players out there that think any situation where the female MC/heroine (none of the harem girls really fit this mould anyways) isn't 100% monogamous and in constant loving adoration of the male MC then it counts as Netorare.

I still don't think the tag was necessary just because one or two upset anti-NTR posters complained (inaccurately) but if the creator's okay with it then no harm done.

The problem here isn't about accepting people's tastes. It's about respecting the developper's choices and not asking him to modify his game to accomodate said tastes. Imagine if everybody (with all their different tastes) did the same...

The game is already tagged "NTR". If it's not your thing, if you can't stand seeing "your" harem-girls being used by others, then just don't play it.

Agreed - being an obnoxious, demanding freeloader really has become the flavor of the month. If people see 10+ % of a game they like, many will latch on and seek to subvert the remaining game to fit their (often poor) design preferences. This is the downside to open betas/patreon projects.
