Well I really like this game, one of the very few RPGM games that is not tedious cancer. The humor and characters are good and I love games where I can be the monster. So take your time buddy, if you keep up the quality with the next update will make sure to pledge some money on your way.

I think RPGM is the biggest reason for his lack of support on this. When the vast majority of RPGM games are so stunningly bad - basically VNs with arbitrary extra steps that should've been in Ren'Py - most people have just learned to avoid RPGM games in general. This game actually fits and utilizes RPGM well (though it's still a crappy engine from a player perspective) and breaks the mold of a shit RPGM game. But not enough people will give it a chance due to the engine. Basically, a well-deserved following ruined based on bad engine reputation. Not that I see engine alternatives for this dev that aren't too time consuming or cost prohibitive though. The game does need the RPGM abilities that Ren'Py can't provide and switching to Unity or Unreal or something would take way too much time and/or dev programming skill. Hopefully he can get more potential users past the bad rep of RPGM to actually give the game a shot despite the engine, since it's well worth it.

How to get
Kara to go to the Temple for the key?
You have to get Kara's Obedience Stats up high enough where she'll do it.

The stats/harem system is still very much a work in progress. One of the things I'm hoping to implement in a future release is some kind of feedback on the stats and what you need when a stats-check fails.

Also, more ways to increase stats, such as Harem girl trainers dotted across the landscape.

In the current release, you can drive up stats like Kara's obedience by playing through the game world (many achievements just by completeing quests also increase stats) and finding and collecting certain treasures, which also will increase very stats. Some are items that increase stats across the board, others are one off gift that buff a single harem girl stat.

waiting for 1 yr still didt get any updates about the development:(:(
I apologize for that, the first half of 2022 was kind of rough. I had some real life obligations that soaked up a considerable amount of my free time. Couple with the "dumb day job" just didn't give me as much time as I would have liked to work on tiddy-games.

Thankfully those obligations have been completed, and I've been able to invest a lot more time into Grolokk, so we're getting close to the next release. I've had to delay it from July. It being so long since the last release was kicked out, I wanted to make sure the next one had ample content, and maaaay have bit off a bit more than I should have for new assets in the next release. But I'm shooting to have it out in August.

RPGM for what it is, is great. With a little creativity, a dev can do some really cool stuff! Not me, mind you, I'm a caveman that can kinda draw titties. But I've seen some people do some really cool stuff with it.

But I think you are right with the whole Stigma behind it.

The follow up project to Grolokk will likely NOT be on RPGmaker, but it will take some investment in learning a new platform. Unity was an option, but I've heard some disparaging news about it lately. Unreal is certainly powerful, but too powerful for my needs? I've been taking a look at Godot as well.

But all this is still a little down the road.
