How do I access the gallery ermm..

You need to complete all the available content, last I recall, then there will be a red orb in the bedroom that you use to access the gallery (do note it is a point of no return, so save beforehand if you haven't recently)

I can't think of many similar gay games. I love Grove a lot cuz it combines an oppressive atmosphere with mechanics that support it. There's not a ton of gay RPGs out there as far as I know. Much less ones that are fun to play.
Small On Top is similar in being a gay RPG but it's not especially kinky. The only real kink is a fetish for tops that are smaller than the bottoms.

is another favorite. It's not an RPG, but it does share an oppressive, kinda kinky atmosphere. It's still very much in development, but it's pretty full of hot content.

You need to be more specific. Similar in what way?
Tho you need to realise This is a very uniquely good game, there ain't any One-to-One on the market.

A Scalie game? Unfortunately not. Maybe Kobold Adventure or Teraurge (Both are abandoned and not exclusively gay).

A RPGM game? Games from Underground Campaign, Hachienden, Survival in Baradise, Small on top.

A RPG game that has combat sex system? Cruel Serenade, Flexible Survival, Lustful Desires, LustOdyssey, Lonarpg(It's a M/F game but males are hot), Fear and Hunger(It's not a porn game, but combat system is fun)

A game that centrals around Bad End Sex? Game Over, Foxxxx (This one is purely text-based)

I agree with the other one about Incubus Realms, it's an uniquely good VN with topnotch arts and very interactive mechanics.

well said, there's also the Grove dev's other game Prowler if you don't mind completely different gameplay but similar art / kinks to Grove. They announced they were working on a paid update to Prowler on their discord back in April. They plan for it to contain an estimated 3-4 hours of content. As of now they still don't have an official release date or pricing but in April they were hoping they'd only need 3 more months to complete it and were looking at somewhere below 10 USD for the price point.

So "Prowler" is like a short side project by the dev?
Saw the demo on very early stage so didn't pay too much attention to it.
Tho I agree, with how Grove goes I hv confidence in their other games.

I think the way they described it in the discord is they needed to take a break from Grove development. It sounded like they were experiencing burnout or something. They thought the best thing to do is start a side project where they can experiment with new tools in RPGM so at least they are still learning new things while they take a break from Grove. I think they were excited to try out new mechanics in RPGM but weren't able to incorporate them into Grove this late in development so this was the best option to feed their creativity. I hope they return to Grove after they are done this update though because I'm a bit more invested in Grove but I understand experiencing burnout.

I really hope we see more creatures that seduce and powerbottom Grove like the bats. They've been my favorite edition so far to the game and I hope we either see more from the bats or enemies similar to them that seduce and corrupt Grove like that.

So far the only benefit I recall is having a safer time in some encounters. In the mines with the bats you run the risk of triggering a automatic game over if you have a very high corruption when talking with the bat at the end, which doesn't happen with low corruption. That's pretty much it and you can actually avoid those triggers entirely, so usually having a somewhat high corruption is better since you unlock more scenes.

I initially thought it's a system that if your corruption level is low, you unlock an entirely different set of reactions, events and scenes, like loving relationship, better ending, etc.
While high corruption leads to more steamy but "corrupted" sex.
And it's OK you can't fuck as often in "uncorrupted path" as in "corrupted path", but things should be different.

But then realised all the corruption unique scenes are parallel to the story - like why would you want to "win" in those wet dreams to skip the sex part, which is why you play a porn game in the first place?
"Easier to win the fights" is not enough to warrant an entire system around it, if "fight" is not the focus of the game (like Elden Ring).

I guess corruption will play a bigger part in the future. The dialogue when you lose in the last wet dream had some really heavy implications, it would be weird if it just to end up being nothing in the end. But this is only speculation, so we'll have to wait for more updates to know for sure.
