so it wasn't real? i thought it was suspicious since there's nothing else in that patreon and the fact that grove dev doesn't give a patreon link on itch.io when they have subscibstar's link
You must really be fun at parties. as far as I know Snakebytes is just a fully finished(!) side project to flesh out more ideas for their main games.
As far as I care, these devs can take as long as they need for a project. The first Grove release was already pretty impressive, and felt fresh among the thousands of RPGMaker games out there. The second Grove release and Prowler both proved these are developers worth keeping an eye on. They've never not delivered.
I think it's worth pointing out, too, this team is just two folks. I think they get help for some aspects of the projects, but most of the work is done by two people. And they released two full-fledged projects within a year. While continuing to rework some earlier parts of Grove. And they've been realistic with their release timelines! Wow!!
I know there are a lot of devs milking it out there, but this one does not seem to be. They released their subscribestar LONG after people were begging for a way to throw money at them.
Anyway, seek patience and the rest will follow.

Nope, their games are cursed like every other furry project, never to be finished, at best we'll get the remake of the rework of the remaster of the reboot of the "re-engineered code" of the "rebuilt combat system" that nobody asked for, and of course it's all focused on the very first area of the game, with the luckiest outcome being an "HD remaster of the first sex scene" and that's it
Why does this say abandoned? They're working on an update right now.

When the game doesn't receive an update for around a year, the post automatically adds the tag "abandoned" even if it's still worked on.
That's kinda dumb. I mean, makes sense for "definitely still working on it despite years of no news" type games, but is there no button to just say "we have evidence it's actually being worked on"? They posted some goo npc on bsky not that long ago.
They are restarting the game and already posted glimpses, enough with the tantrum
At the end of the day, until it actually has an update and not just 'look what i'm doing' there's no reason to debate if it's really abandoned or not. It's just a notice to people it's been a long time since the last update and to not get your hopes up.
