Aside from the bugs that can be bypassed, the game is not bad. Thanks to the sweep button, the game can be beaten very quickly to farm and it is easy to 3-Star the levels, as long as you prioritize Imala (Harpy) on the first turn.

That sounds like you put the folder in the game's directory, not the appdata folder. Go to My Computer -> C: Drive (Probably) Users -> "Your User Name" -> AppData (might be hidden) -> LocalLow -> BlackCat -> Guardians of Eden. Then make a folder called Saves.

After choosing your name, you can role back to the same dialogue. Then it should jump to the next dialogue.

I had the name bug. This dude is a king. Making a save file in directory didn't work for me, but this did.
