Holy fuck this has got to be one of the worst developers I've seen...game looks nice if I could actually play it and not have to apply a fix at every fucking turn of this game...Guess I'll drop this until its complete so I KNOW that all the problems (and trust me there's a shit ton) with this game gets fixed...

I decompiled the code to check what the bug with name/tutorial is.

The issue is that the game is unable to auto-save unless a "Saves" folder exists in %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\BlackCat\GuardiansOfEden

Run the game once so that the \GuardiansOfEden folder gets created in \AppData. Then close the program and create the \Saves folder in the \GuardiansOfEden directory.

This resolved the issues for me
Thanks, almost gave up on the game right out the gate, but easy fix for anyone who can be bothered to look through the forum for the solution. Nice job figuring it out though.

Every time I try to start the dlc it loads infinitely and never starts. Does anyone know how to fix this?

for some reason my game won't progress after I enter my name. it just gets stuck on that text

edit: making a saves folder did not work for me

Edit 2:

this is important!!! i have the game downloaded and installed on a seperate drive, but you still need to make the save file on the local disk drive not in the drive the game is installed on
